try to associate with people who have really good jobs, or friends with money, the right way was always nepotism anyway

Get a high paying job, live frugally, save as much as you can. Leave after a couple years and start your own business. Ideally that high-paying job would be one that pays more than you're worth in your early years and you leave before the cross-over. Examples include software developer and some finance roles.
