Why don't you ask your parents?
For most people the Internet is barely 20 years old.

didnt have the level of entertainment we had. this meant people met up in various places to talk shit, play and listen to music, drink, eat, dance whatever.

now that still happens, just not on the same communal level.

If you wanted information, you would have to unstick your greasy zoomer ass from the gaming chair and go to a library.

If you wanted entertainment, you would have to talk to people about the next upcoming goyslop. Television only ever had a handful of programs worth sitting through.
Delivery services were in their infancy or non-existent for most businesses. If you wanted something, you'd have to show up at a physical place and interact with people.

If you wanted to socialize, I remember me and my friends would have specific places in town where we would hang out in hopes of maximizing the chance that we would run into each other there. Otherwise we would plan ahead if we were lucky enough to catch each other all in one place. Most people also had a house phone, so you'd have to call and ask their relatives if they were home.

It feels like there used to be more people out on the streets touching grass. This was all in the early 2000s. The internet wasn't even internet as you know it.

Church and whatever local social events were going on in your small town after hours of farming. If both fail your parents hit up distant kin to see if any of your third cousins are still single.

Did even spergs would like hang out with other spergs irl? Because as a mid 20's gay, all i see now are people who wander around aimlessly as loners and get all their social interaction from the internet

Spergs would actually form groups and physically interact based around their particular interests: jocks, stoners, nerds of various descriptions (comic book gays, dnd/board game gays, Star Trek gays, that sort of thing). The internet really has thrown society a curve ball

Yes, but we also had usenet forums and shit for the super nerds. It's just that you couldn't take that wherever you go. You had to log off and could only access it when you were at a computer. Now the computer is with you at all times and there is no escape from it.

School, bars, work, sports, through existing friends, college, are you serious?

Have you never made a friend that you didn’t meet on the internet?
