They didn't want more war
>we don’t war!!
>declares war on you
>gets declared war on by two of the largest empires in the world
>"meh I won't remember this each and every tiem I'm told"-(you)
genetics
Simple really
>considered armour a support arm subservient to the infantry
>no combined arms doctrine
>spread it out instead of concentrating it
>expected their defences would hold and that the Germs wouldn't attack through the forests
Also, the CharB wasn't very good. It was oversized ans slow.
armour a support arm subservient to the infantry
>>no combined arms doctrine
These two statements are at odds with one another. You may have a low IQ.
Armor is supposed to be paired with motorized infantry. Pairing armor with non-motorized infantry is totally different and wrong.
It's still combined warfare
French tanks were flawed when it came to fighting, they had no radios and one-man turrets, it doesnt matter if the were better in every other way.
Your question is like asking "how did our football team lose when we just got new shoes?"
It's one very small variable in the outcome
It was all in wrong place
>the virgin blind, lumbering, lonesome Char
>The Chad aware, mobile, wolfpack PzII

char b is a ww1 tank
>1921
>ww1
was designed for ww1 and crossing trenches before it ended. that's why the tracks are so long.
Development started in 1921. It’s an interwar tank developed to handle conditions that were encountered in WW1. Do you also believe the TOG was a WW1 tank?
Equipment isn't everything
>Failed to take the initiative, sat behind defences waiting for Germans
>Completely unprepared for an armored push through the Ardennes
>Politically divided inept government and demoralized army is left in shock
>Army routs and disintegrates
>Random squads are cut off and wander around instead of fighting or resorting to guerilla warfare
>Germans have the entire country before a corps can reconstitute itself for the defence
France's situation in 1940 is the equivalent of Mike Tyson getting into a boxing ring with Larry Holmes and Holmes rears up and hits him in the jaw with a spinning heel kick.
watch this
Masons, atheists and israelites were in power (and still are).
No way the frenchs were ready to die en masse for that bullshit.
The French didn't even have radio communication.
They still communicated with visual signals, while the Germans used radio.
This made all tank battles ridiculously one sided. The only time French tanks outperformed German ones was in the fighting for a village named Stonne, when an isolated French tank (who thus didnt need to communicate with fellow tanks) rampaged and destroyed a dozen German tanks on its own.
