I would argue that the seriously religious parts of America are *not* developed and are in fact poorer, less educated, fatter, and generally worse off than the other parts of America.

Southerners are about as depraved as northerners, it's just that northerners are more perverted. Whereas southerners have illegitimacy, northeners have LGBT and trannies. Both are riddled with violent crime for different reasons. The only difference between them is that northerners are more honest about the fact that they hate God.

None of this LGBT shit would even exist if the south alone ruled America

But southerners are still godless perverts, which is teen pregnancy is a bigger problem there than in the north.

with Southerners it's mostly just basic b***h drinking, using drugs, and having sex. though at least the stronger religious culture there means people feel more sense of guilt of it.

The idea that Middle America is some spiritually rich place is the biggest lie. They worship something alright: buying, selling, and consuming. Also money. And listening to right-wing talk shows hosting by homophobic closet cases. But they don't even enjoy having money because they believe taking pleasure in anything is bad, therefore, they're driven to suck the fun out of everything, suck the life out of everything, and to destroy the planet and the forests and make as much money as possible because that means God is blessing them. They should all be put in cages and injected with experimental vaccines.

South Africa only became Pro-LGBT after the end of Apartheid under the black government. Before that white run South Africa had "conversion therapy" for gays.

China's attitudes towards homosexuality is complicated. They don't condemn it as "REE ABSOLUTE DEGENERATE EBIL" as Abrahamics do, but they consider homosexuality as more of a fetish than a gender identity and gays as freaks who are too focused on their sexual fetish.

Besides in Confucian morality, what is bad is addiction to sex, hetero or otherwise, as it leads you to harm social ties and forget your duties to your family/society/etc.

Research was done on this and it was found that America’s guarantee of religious freedom made Christianity into some kind of market where you can pick and choose your type of preferred Christianity. America has so many Christian sects, it’s unbelievable.

It was found that countries with state churches historically like Scandinavia were less religious as a result

I am so tired of Europoids saying America is religious just because they live in a godless dystopia. Just because Europeans really hate God, doesn't mean that Americans really love God.
About 40% of all the children in America are literal bastards. It's about the same in Europe. The only difference between us and you is that Europeans don't bother LARPing as Christian, but we do.
American people will literally tell you they're Christian and then in the next breath tell you that they believe the Bible isn't true. I am not BSing you. I will prove it to you, I can show it to you if you doubt me.
America is not religious, much less seriously religious. We hate God, we hate children, we hate life and we love sexually perverted things, mammon, gossiping, anything that degrades and humiliates. We want more of that.

Kind of the impression I got of america as a non-american. Saying
your a real Christian if you can't properly explain the trinity is a troll, but I do wonder how many people claiming to be Christian know even the basic theology and believe in it. Though I suppose that percentage was probably always low

80% of religious Americans don't live their lives any differently than irreligious Americans, its just a LARP.
Christianity is kind of an easy religion to do that with, you don't really have to give up anything to be Christian.
I wager part of the reason why is that European countries had state churches that were conservative and tied to the monarchies, so liberalism/democracy became associated with being anti-religion. USA never had a state church, so religion was never seen as an arm of the state like it was in Europe.

Not really. Christianity at least demands repentance, meaning a cessation of some evil behavior. Anyone who refuses to repent cannot meaningfully be considered Christian. It's literally one of the only things you have to do and it is also incredibly difficult.

        >Christianity at least demands repentance, meaning a cessation of some evil behavior
What constitutes "evil behavior" is up to interpretation. Its not like Islam where it is "No pork" and "no alcohol" which requires a change to your life style.

Lack of real socio-political institutions. Since they were abruptly imported all at once instead of having been developed through centuries, thats the result you get.

What happened in the americas was as if you gave a motorcycle to someone who only knew how to ride a horse, and then put him right away on a highway: since he had no clue about how to drive a motorcycle, he ended up trying to 'ride' it, which in the long run ended up in a forced way to make it move, by getting the same old horse to pull it.

A lot of things, the foundation of the original colonies by religious zealots, and Ironically freedom of religion meant that various folk types of Christianity could spread with no interference from state backed Churches. A lot of European backlash against religion originates with the close relationship between state sponsored Churches the government and the persecution and corruptions that came with it. There were some states with official Churches in America at the time of the founding, but they were quickly done away with in favor of general acceptance of any form of protestant Christianity, with a grudging tolerance of israelites and Catholics.

The USA is literally an dystopian / utopian meme of the earth's various religions, it's literally a "safe place" for all.

America is the New Israel, a city upon a hill that cannot be hidden. We have a covenant with God written into the DOI and the Constitution, our Law. We even had an Exodus where slaves were freed. Abraham Lincolmn and Harriet Tubman were the American Moseses and George Washington is the American Abraham Lincoln.
