How dangerous is using mouthwash as an alcohol replacement long term? I heard that the methyl salicylate is deadly.

You'd probably shit yourself to death first from the huge amounts of additives meant to make it effective on mouth bacteria. Why would you do that to yourself?
I accidentally swallowed almost a whole mouthful of Listerine once because I laughed and kind of choked at the same time. I ended up having to take the day off work because I felt sick and it burned the shit out of my throat
Pain and suffering
you are better off drinking 99% alcohol from a pharmacy
WHY? Mouthwash probably has all this toxic added shit. It's literally healthier to just drink vodka.
I've seen aborigines buy methylated spirits (metho) and a loaf of bread and they strain the metho through the entire length of the loaf of bread which apparently does something I'm not sure what and then they sit in the park and drink it while they yell at bypassers making their way to work in the morning
you shouldn't do what desert naggers do, anon
I have heard they have a much stronger thorax than regular folk
anon they are animals, not humans
That is common in eastern Europe. Those inbred Ukrainians and other slavs do the same with windshield washer fluid thinking it makes it safe to drink.
it's weird, I was raised in a school that heavily tried to enforce compassion for aboriginals,
it was catholic school so the perspective was from a charity sort of standpoint.
Basically we were taught that abo's were less fortunate sad people that need help from the greater community
As I grew up and found work I was astounded to see that most of them are happy drinking metho outside the train station yelling at white passers-by.
I also noticed that police won't arrest them for such behaviour (which is fine whatever)
I also noticed that my grandmother (who worked st vincent depaul for 40 years) is afraid of them,
because they'll often try to steal the donated meals that were for other people, to have more for themselves
My point is, what to do about it? do we just let them fade out in a haze or industrial cleaner?
Offer vaccination to remote tribes to see whether it will breed them out?
Do nothing and ignore it and go on with life,
Or is modern society responsible for controlling their lives and normalising their behaviour..
just somehting to think about
They are wildlife. You need to treat them with compassion like you treat koalas, i.e. not fuck their shit up for no reason.

(it does nothing.)
Start drinking vanilla, peppermint, or lemon extract. You can fit a bunch of the tiny bottles in your pocket. It’ll get you wasted better than listerine.
its probably safer to just buy honey , mix it with water and ferment it with baking yeast to make mead.
alcohol is cheaper, why buy mouthwash or hair spray? I never understood that meme of indians chugging everthing for the alcohol
>I never understood that meme of indians chugging everthing for the alcohol
Because white man government bans alcohol on the reservations. Sometimes they cannot afford to drive to a white-man's town to buy alcohol during their drunk, or don't have a truck, so they buy mouthwash from the reservation store with their casino money.
>Because white man government bans alcohol on the reservation
Arent they allegedly sovereign?
The tribal councils usually ban alcohol to try to keep their low IQ inbred subjects from drinking themselves to death or beating their wives.

Just more proof that banning things and government laws do no good, and in fact make things worse.
>Just more proof that banning things and government laws do no good,
How do you figure? The anecdote you're responding to doesn't say anything about the bans being ineffectual.
Native authorities in Alaska often ban alcohol, and by all accounts I have heard it actually works well and that's why they keep the bans. The communities with such bans do a lot better than those which don't.
Hello government stooge glowie and thread slider.
These bans are done by local government, tribal leaders. Not by the state or federal government.
This is the communities handling their own affairs, something a cianagger would never advocate for.
>government
Is still

Don't give a fuck what "level" it is, it is ALL corrupt AF and worthless.
The USA has an absurd 21 year old legal drinking age even though 18 years olds like drinking too.
So just don't drink? I don't get the issue.
>The USA has an absurd 21 year old legal drinking age
Depends on where you are.
Some states there is no lower drinking age if parents are present.
to offer my honest perspective, you would be far better off replacing your shitty habit with weed
then if you don't like weed, replace your shitty habit with doing things that aren't a waste of time like drinking - i.e. things that stimulate your cognitive faculties
in reference to this comment I would highly recommend rope making and trapping

Simply distill out the ethanol. More expensive than buying cheap ethanol.
