Houses can see you

I'm honestly not sure why no one is talking about this other than the fact it's exactly what houses want you to think. Houses are 100% alive. Before you get all materialistic seriously think about this before you dismiss it. Humans and houses have been together for thousands of years.

There are a few possible explanations:

1) People may not be aware that houses are alive.
2) People may be aware but don't think it's a big deal.
3) People may be aware and think it's a good thing (houses are alive and can take care of themselves).
4) People may be aware and think it's a bad thing (houses are alive and may try to harm people).
5) People may think it's a joke.
At this point I'm tired of everyone trying to say I'm wrong and not providing any proof against this.

So at what point does an amalgamation of construction materials become “alive?” Are other buildings alive? If I live in a cardboard box and call it my house, is it alive? Elaborate

Your house only feels alive because of the pests. Your place is filthy. Tent your shithole and bomb those roaches with the most toxic fogger the hardware store will sell you. Clean the catshit off the floor. Scrub behind the ranges and the fridge. The "life" in your house... that's called vermin. Clean people don't have that problem.

Animism has nothing to do with this as houses don't possess a soul and are sustained by human civilization and are self-perpetuating. Houses are unique from all other objects created by humans.

        >houses don't possess a soul
incorrect, they trap the souls of those that die there

Chinese feng shui pronounced fung shway basically attributes how houses form fate or luck based on the direction the door is and where certain rooms are. If the door is facing southwest it's apparently horrible. Northeast is supposed to be the best. And staircases shouldn't be visible from the doorway, because spirits will easily spread to other areas of the house upon entry.

The house and the modern human are part of the same organism as far as I'm concerned as our very civilization is interdependent on their existence. The only thing that comes close to the complexity of house building is beavers and they aren't even considered that intelligent.

Houses are not alive but some houses can be dead. In Russian tradition "a dead" house is the one devoid of household guardian spirit (domovoi) and occupied by evil forces instead. That's why you invite domovoi in the first thing after building your house.

So what your saying is that people believe that the house has a spirit inside of it? How is that different from it being alive?

        Anonymous

Is a shell alive if it has a hermit crab in it? Is a corpse when insects get busy with it? That something is inside something it doesn't mean the larger thing is per definition alive.

That's because shit doesnt work like that. Tell us exactly what you describe as ' alive' and why it would be applicable to a house.
I can say my coffee is alive, but with nothing to define what that would mean or what would be the null hypothesis, that statement is incredibly vapid and without effect.

So as to have them look after us, to nurture, the nature female motherly trait.
Everything hold a density, and density is just thick vibration, something you can feel and create with your very voice. Buildings are alive but they are not alive in the sense that you would say a person is. Occult shit OP... pull that thread some more if you are interested.

a lot of salvia trips get you turned into a shingle, doorknob (twin peaks), or paint on the side of a barn, etc, and you're not alone in that from the trip reports I've heard. there's a reason it's been used by diviners I guess.

look at this picture. The heatmap on the left is where normal people looked, the heatmap on the right is where an autistic person looked. They avoided looking directly at the house because it resembled a face.

Believe it or not, this has had a massive influence on "modern" architecture. One of the most prolific (if you want to use that word) architects, Le Corbusier, was autistic, which resulted in modern architecture looking so SOVLLESS.

i have a love/hate relationship with the house i inherited. i pretty much live rent free but i'm a poorgay and never have enough money to do needed, costly repairs to it. this actually makes me more depressed. i think my house is emitting depressing vibes because i won't doll it up and it's starting to get to me. you may be onto something, OP. sometimes i think i'd be happier and more successful with women if i just had a cozy little 1 bedroom apartment paying like $750 a month

Not “alive” per se but conscious & capable of observation + shaping reality in a limited way, yes. Look up Panpsychism, you’re re-discovering things which to your forefathers were just “common sense”. People unconsciously know this, ie even hardline atheist materialists will catch themselves ascribing sentience & intent to “inanimate objects” at times (think smacking or cursing/pleading with appliances or furniture when they’re not working, etc)

There's nothing remotely new about this idea. Animis predates all forms of the Abrahamc mind virus pseudo-religion. Many many shamatic religions focus on the "house spirit".
