Hi guys. I’m 30 years old and most of the hair on the top of my head has thinned. It’s got me really depressed. Should I just shave it all off? I have an ovular head and don’t think it’ll look good. But being patchy doesn’t either. Any advice? I can’t afford hair plugs and hair replacement systems don’t seem realistic enough. My hair is somewhat like pic related except I have a large almost bald spot on the crown.
Cut (no pun intended) your losses and just shave it and walk with head high knowing ur not a pathetic loser trying to hold onto patches of hair.

Well I didn’t say skinny. I’m 5’9 155lbs. Not quite muscular I’m just too depressed from my divorce and job to work out

im pretty much like pic too, dont think i have a round enough head so dont wat to shave it,i just keep it short n will have to deal with it, mostly wear a cap or beanie n e way, did before i lost my hair, also i’d never wear a hair piece, transplant wud be the only way to go but its pricey, dont even think about minoxodil (regaine/rogaine) or propecia its not a good idea.
regaine/rogaine makes ur hair fall out before new hair grows, but the hair it grows is not the same its thin wispy bum fluff, when u stop using it the hair its grown will fall out and the hair that was originally there obviously wont regrow.
theres also a warning on regaine that says if ur hair falls out but doesnt regrow to stop using it.
by that point the damage is done as u have just sped up ur hair loss! i used this shit for more than a year, really it should be taken off the market.
also theres tablets called propecia these apparently work well to regrow hair, the side effect is ur dick will never get hard as its well known they make u impotent, some claim permanently even after u stop taking the tablets.
I’m not even going to try minox or Propecia or dermarolling. I guess I’ll be 30 year old baldy then. I don’t like hats either.

as for propecia (finasteride) i bought a box of 8 tablets for £50 also had to get a prescription from the doc, was about 10yrs ago, price has prob gone up since.
before taking them i watched videos on youtube made by people that had used them, thats when i heard about the floppy side effect, the box went straight in the bin!
use minoxodil and the hair u have will fall out quicker than it would naturally.
use finasteride ur hair will grow but ur dick will never get hard, may be permanent!

If you dont want to deal with side effects then RU58841. These stop hair loss.
Then minoxidil which will help with growth. True it you will shed hair when you stop but it will help alot coupled with the stuff from above. You can then futher your results from minoxidil by using a microneedler.
Also swap your shampoo for ketoconazole.
Dont let your hair go because some stupid said so. I was so far gone when I was 21 I thought thats it Im bald for the rest of my life. But im 24 and no one can guess that I have sufferes from hair loss.
The faster you act the better, reserve what you have then you can play catchup and gain back ground.

if you have a good shaped head you can get micropigmentation tattoos that look like real hair, it’s only $1000-$3000.
If you end up needing to pay $3000, why not just save up another grand or two at get a full blown FUT transplant? I get that’s a lot of money but I mean if you’re going to be blowing that much cash already why not?
not him but an actual good (you dont want to go for the cheapest one out there) transplant will cost you way more than 3000 bucks. Im norwood 3-4 and the doc in turkey said to give me a realistic on would be 6000 plus (the best doc in turkey that actually has surgeon working not just operators). and you need to take fin after and get touch up operations as you age. I ended up shaving it off because I was already kinda buff years in advance
Hair transplants usually cost a lot more than unless you’re like an NW1.
Also, hair transplants are not the one fix all solution. You still need to be on finasteride to keep the hair you didn’t lose.
A decent sized transplant can be like $3000-4000 in Turkey, the issue is that transplants just often don’t look very good if you’re more than NW3 to begin with.

You’d be surprised how fast that shit can sneak up on you anon. My friend had decent hair at 29. Just minor hair loss that you would expect of someone in their late 20s. By his 31st birthday he looked worse than that pic. Basically 12 months of just surprise hairloss.

Get one of these fancy wigs, they’re no more expensive than getting a haircut on a regular basis, the best ones are undetectable.
I know a really young guy who started losing his hair at ~22yo, he got one of these over the weekend, no one saw the difference. I was the first to think it wouldn’t hold properly nor look right, but no one knows except for me,he goes to the beach, has girls pull on it when they heck, the thing literally doesn’t move. And when it comes to hygiene, it’s flawless.
I’ve been long used to being shaved now, but if I had the possibility back then, I would have surely seized it.
First gray hairs at 25(ish), started losing noticeable tufts of hair in the shower at 27, 29 now and I think I should just go bald, shit’s pathetic really. My gf (and my mother) are still suggesting me things to grow it back, but that ain’t happening.
