Be the metalhead that people thought metalheads were like in the 80’s and 90’s, not what they actually are
Look like you’re a street punk in an arcade beat-em-up

this rings true for a lot of different trends like gothninja, emo, rockabilly etc. dress how they are perceived in media not how they actually dress because most of the followers in any trend tend to be wackadoos

Subcultures are dead, but that’s a topic for another day
The most common stereotype is that metalheads:

Bathing is non-negotiable but you already know that. We’d love to have you in fragrance general, but if there was one perfume that doesn’t break the bank and is dark and masculine, it’s Encre Noire (both regular and the Extreme version)
      >fat or stick figures
The best base to look good in anything is being fit
      >hairy
As someone who had long hair + beard for a long time, getting rid of split ends (once a month) and loose beard hairs (once a week if I do it myself) makes the world of difference. If you have a beard, go to a pro barbershop and find a shape that suits you with trial and error.
      >wear ill-fitting clothes
What do you wear right now?

Good suggestion, Eddiecore looks good as a style normies like because of Stranger Things, but don’t necessarily want to emulate
