Here is a list of songs that were blacklisted from being played on the radio after 9/11.
Which one is your favorite, or the most fitting? I'd go with Van Halen's "Jump".

i will always associate 9/11 with Leftover Crack
their first album came out on 9/11, i dont know how the hell they got away with it or how that even happened.
Great name lame music
i like the lyrics.
I fucking love this song. Love the bass breakdown part.
>Stza was raised in New York by his mother, who he classified as an "over-protective israeli mom".
Brity gud album, would be better if they didn't have the snivelling israelite voice whining and lecturing about capitalism every few songs.
who needs any of those when 9/11 gave us this
>Sam Hyde in the thumbnail
no fucking way....
pretty impressive considering at the time he would have been 16
>Tom Petty - Building 7 Collapsing at Free Falling Acceleration in its Own Footprint
I dont get it why did they ban this track?
why are americans so fucking sensitive lmfao
innocent people died you massively retarded fag
not to be that anon but i totally will be, america kills a 9/11's worth of civilians abroad weekly if not daily
i had nothing to do with that, i voted AGAINST war mongerers. However it doesnt matter because either vote will go to a war mongerer. I am not to blame.
i never said you were fren
Really? Can you provide some statistics for that? I didn’t realize the US kills 51 million people per year
No human is innocent. If you aren’t a dysfunctional resentful little coward like you though you don’t wish death on people who generally are in the same situation you are in
>No human is innocent
Hello Camus
it's probably closer to weekly than daily but also you're arguing in bad faith so
>no human is innocent
Spoken like a true demoralized moron. There is good and evil on Earth, and America is certainly the latter. Wake up.
>Americans
>Innocent
kek
Yeah, eleven Muslims died that day.
walk like an egyptian is the funniest one to ban
let the bodies hit the floor
let the bodies hit the floor
let the bodies hit the floor
let the bodies hit the...
kino...
Why were these banned? They don’t seem to have any connection at all
They weren't "banned" in any formal sense. I'm guessing some middle managers at ClearChannel just said "morons will read too much into it if you play these songs today, so don't play them" on their stations.
>"Enter Sandman"
NO PUEDE SER
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
kino
Always a big kek reading the list and then rage against the machines entire discography was banned
>the artwork for the Dream Theater album 'Live Scenes From New York' featuring the NYC (and Twin Towers) aflame was released 9/11/2001
Spoopy
You'd have thought Bon Jovi "Going down In a Blaze of Glory" would have been on that list.
SOUNDGARDEN : Blow Up The Outside World
Great song. RIP Chris Cornell
On a sidenote, i think after hurricane Katrina destroyed and flooded New Orleans, they stopped playing this banger by Canadian group TheTragicallyHip that came out back in the late 80's : New Orleans Is Sinking
>head like a hole
ok but why
probably the "i'd rather die" part
>I LIVE TOMORROW
>YOU WILL NOT FOLLOW
311 what the fuck
INVESTIGATE 311
Shit. I created a thread with one of the songs listed...
Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9fVvzsjQGg
The Mother of all 9/11 songs. explains it all by the first chorus
FEAR FACTORY : Controlled Demolition
Hadn't heard this song in such a long time that I completely forgot how good it actually was
>oingo boingo
>deadman's party
Don't know why this one made me kek
Would you have jumped LULZ?
Seems like it certainly beats burning to death
>Sunday Bloody Sunday banned
But the attacks happened on a Tuesday...
