Rain rarely falls straight down because there's this thing called wind. Also what the fuck are you even supposed to park in there?
Because the yard is a slope

Well the plans started from this side and used a 2d program to built it. So the rock wall is actually farther out than the shingled wall even though the other side is equal. It's impossible to figure this out from a 2d render. So the different wall coverings is to blend in the walls natrually.
It’s comfy looking enough and I have no worries about it falling down, but as a professional builder I am so confused by your details.
Why is the side next to the driveway so thick on half of it? You say the stone was to blend the walls, but they don’t blend. Worse, the stone makes a ledge that isn’t covered by roof. It’s going to catch water and let it stay against the wall behind the stone, the stone will prevent it from drying out and it will rot/molder.
For that matter, where is this? New England? I sure would have given myself a modicum if overhang just to keep the walls from getting soaked in every singe rain shower.
I hope that you have a poured foundation under those walls, otherwise it’s going to settle over time.
I like the shingles.
the whole point of that setup is to not have a garage door
It'll have a garage door, even if it has to be angled a bit
>you know what would look great over these nice cedar shingles >a random pile of stone

sorry, i'm just having some fun. your garage is nice and i'd be beyond pumped if i built it. nice drainage setup too
I’d love to build but modern zoning israelite my lot out of a lot of usable space since it’s not a nice clean square shape. Current garage is grandfathered all the way up to property lines on one side. If I had to redo the setbacks would be a fuckin mess and actually make my garage smaller despite having a decent sized allowance. Fuck zoning bullshit why is it even a thing
This is the single dumbest structure I w ever seen built in a first world country. It makes no fucking sense. What kind of retard build a structure over unlevel ground? You're supposed to level the fucking ground you goddamn idiot!
I wish I had a garage. Doing stuff out in the open where everyone can see and no protection from rain/wind sucks and not having a proper setup at all sucks.
One day I'll own a house with a garage so I can work on my things
t. Europoor
Realistically OP, I know you're getting shit for making this "garage", but it honestly looks like it was framed just fine. It's a good structure, just not sure if it could garage a car.
Would be great as a tool shed, motorcycle storage, riding mower storage, whatever.
I don't see the value in a garage that lacks a level floor and a door. I could put up a circus tent if my goal was just to keep the rain and dew off my car.
You should have let the fucking pros do it. How the fuck do you put a garage door on that? Why the fuck did you build it on a slope?
its ok he'll just have a 30 degree cut in his bottom panel
only way to save this bullshit built on top of a unlevel patio
the whole point of that setup is to not have a garage door
What the fuck is the point then? That's a fucking lean-to not a garage.
rain falls from the sky not from the driveway

Don't quit your IT dayjob lol.

would be ok for motorcycles i dont see a car fitting in it

Nice horse stable

if you were actually an enthusiast you would've made your garage deeper than 1 car length
that’s some piss poor water management holy shit. post back when it begins to sink

my cars arent pusssies like yours they can survive strom winter
I need my garage completely rebuilt from the ground up, anyone have experience with that? I imagine it’ll cost at least $15k for a one car garage.
You serious, nigga?
>probably spent 3 times the amount it would've been to just get pic related for all that effort.
dumb fuck.
it looks comfy OP
How did you use a computer and still manage to do worse than people did 5000 years ago?
'Tis a fine barn, but sure 'tis no garage
I'd go take a pic of my car in my barn but I don't want to wake the goats, dogs, and chickens at 1am. Maybe tomorrow.
Cute!

My house came with a shed
>garage
>no doors
>pavers instead of concrete so you can't install a lift
>op thinks he's a "true enthusiast"
That's a pole barn with walls you idiot.
Why are muts afraid of using modern materials
Coming from the homosexuals who still use ring circuits and fuses.
are you sure you wanna show all of this to jealous strangers on the internet?
especially your house with the garage visible?

HE DIDN'T VARNISH IT.
WHAT THE FUCK.
SLOPED
HOW THE FUCK DO I USE A SLOPE GARAGE?
NO BEAMS FOR HANGING MOTOR OFF
NO BRACES
WHAT IS STRONG WIND
IT'S A CARPORT YOU BUILT A CARPORT, PROTECTS YOUR CAR BUT OTHERWISE ISN'T FUNCTIONAL LIKE A GARAGE.
I guess I'm not a true garage enthusiast
oh well
bro what the fuck are you doing hahahaha
Why's it so shallow? A proper garage for working on a car will be like 25' deep to allow for a workbench, tool storage and space around the vehicle.
I don't see the value in a garage that lacks a level floor and a door. I could put up a circus tent if my goal was just to keep the rain and dew off my car.
