No, that's literally impossible.
Many such cases!
i eat like shit and i have a bmi of 17 get fucked
age?
19
better fix your diet or you'll gain a bunch of weight in your 20s
fast metabolisms don't last forever
I do the same and just turned 27
t. ate 3k+ Calories / day for 2 months and couldn't even gain 10 lbs
Yep, but I developed an eating disorder in the process
I lost 120lbs
5'8 260lbs -> 140lbs, took around 1.5 years.
Samsies. I've always had disordered eating, considering my starting weight, although I wasn't cognizant of it at the time. Used to binge and emotionally eat a lot, flipped into anorexia, then bulimia. Now 1 year clean :v although it'll always be there in the background.
No we're not lmao. Exercising does help in that it can give you a bigger deficit or more calories to play with though.
It's all YMMV anyways, some people might find exercising necessary as it allows them to eat to satiation whilst staying under their TDEE. If you've got enough willpower you can do without it.
How old are you? age can play into weight loss
I started losing weight at 21. I'm sure age factors into metabolism (in addition to stress and lifestyle factors), although you can adjust around that.
how do you adjust stress with constant dysphoria?
I was fat most of my childhood and then became underweight when I was 16-17
I was never diagnosed with any ED but at the time I did binge and purge almost daily and on the days when I didn't I starved myself instead
then I started hrt and starting eating more because I wanted to actually get some breast development cuz starving myself wouldn't really help me with that and I gained weight and now I'm in a healthy bmi range
Ask again in 4 months
at one point i got to 5'6 150lbs without realizing it
it was super gross so i just stopped eating anything but plain oatmeal and plain fish
im 5'7 110 now
it took only a few months to lose the weight tho
hole fucking shit this isn't fat. you motherfuckers are not helping
a bmi of 25 with no muscle is very extremely fat and normalizing that is the problem
a human should not have 40-50 pounds of excess fat hanging off their body, thats not normal
how arent these weight ranges fat? me at 163 lb rn 5'11 i have a gross stomach and moid love handles i consider fat and gross and i dont exercise so its more fat than muscle.
5'11 160lb is skinny and I wish I was there, I'm also 5'11 and have been morbidly obese pretty much my entire life. I dropped from being garishly obese (~350lb) to 240lb when my egg broke but it's climbed back up as I never truly fixed by shitty eating habits.
I was 230 at my fattest around the end of 2021 but now i just have adopted a weird eating schedule. . . but there was also some big depression periods where I just didnt eat for random days. But now I try to have coffee in the morning and then have my one meal late in the afternoon . i stop snacking and stopped having junk food in the house and buy banana and orange to eat instead. its hard to get going if youre used to gorging whenever you feel bored or hungery but coffee and escapism help me
Some Anon used to be 170lb but now 110 in 6 months so
No, I'm trying to though. Finally have a reason to
just a tip- people saying that its 80% diet and 20% working out is 100% lying - i've always been a skinny cancer pig like 40-55kg my entire life, then i started eating a lot while i took antipsychotics, went up like 50kgs and now that im off the meds for months and eat like 1/3 of i did im still 40kgs up
you need to move your ass homosexual
I lost 80 pounds and went from nearly obese to seriously underweight. It's definitely possible, but I would recommend you do it with your primary doctor's guidance. I'm just anorexic now and can't stop losing weight. It's easy to get addicted to seeing the number go down, or to be unable to get out of the dieting mentality. At the same time, if you diet but don't develop any healthier dietary or physical habits in the meantime then you will balloon up again as soon as you go back to eating the way you did. It's a struggle, but you can do it healthily if you try and are reasonable with yourself.
Yes
1,200 Calorie diet
Eat healthy things like high fiber high iron cereals Eat eggs they are great an can be made in a lot of different ways an dinner I just ate whatever tbh so long as I was 1,200 calories also get a bike shits fun an it keeps you healthy
will keep in mind
is fiber really the answer?
I just know that it was healthy it'd help with digestion an you'd be disposing of your gut waste more efficiently an more often. 1,200 calories is really the key though make sure to count your calories.
mfw 98lbs I hate being skinny wouldn't wish it on anyone
I'm not skinny and will never be but I did lose 50 pounds by getting into biking and starting to watch what I eat.
then why did you reply to this thread?
Because I consider losing that much weight an achievement and most importantly I can maintain that weight because it was lifestyle changes instead of crash dieting.
i was fat as fuck until like age 10 when i decided to stop eating fast food and only drink water. became underweight in like the next 2 years
i lost 40 pounds in two months by eating 500 calories or less a day until i let people scare me into eating more
rn i'm eating like 1000-1500 calories a day and i keep thinking about going back to below 500 for just a little while longer because i am nowhere near my goal rn
yes
went from being 150 to 145, then trooned out and dropped down to 135
i'm at 155 now tho i'm so fucking fat

yeah but i gained it back
I'm not skinny and i,ve gained a lkttle weigbt but im down at 165 from 275
It's absolutely doable, it's just a gigantic pain in the ass. Before I started HRT, I was 250 lbs. I started keto around the same time I started transitioning, and I'm currently 170 lbs. I stopped doing keto for a bit (about half a year), and maybe gained 10 lbs back, but I started back up again and already returned to my lowest weight (and still going).
For me, the biggest thing was just having a proper regiment to my diet. I used to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I now limit my intake to about 1250 calories and no more than 35-40 carbs. I still eat super unhealthy stuff, but way better than I used to.
nope. down to 16.8 bmi and im still fat lmao, subcutaneous fat is forever. dont be like me and never let yourself go in the first place.
i was a pretty overweight depressed guy when repping and then i got super skinny when i started transitioning and i was like BMI 17 when i was 3-9 months on hormones, then i gained a lot of it back especially once i went on prog lol... i'm now 2.5 years in and i fluctuate around BMI 23-24ish and i'm trying to just maintain it above all else, i think the extra squish is part of what helps me pass and it went to the right places so i don't mind it too much. i haven't become overweight again since i transitioned which i'm happy with.
yup. most recently i've gone from 167 to 152 (goal is 140). about a lb a week. just being in a -3500 cal deficit a week roughly.
~1800 cals a day, ~100g protein a day, 3 meals and 1-2 snacks. 10k+ steps a week. lifting 4-5 times per week.
basically just find a routine and staple foods that work for you that allow you to stay consistent and do it for a few months
