No, but I’m pretty much the only one in my social world, everybody else still dresses like they did as teenagers and we’re all in our mid/late 30s. I think most of them look hecking ridiculous, and they all bust my balls for dressing like a boomer or whatever. (Which means colors other than black and shirts with buttons, apparently.)

It has been jeans with plain t-shirts and shirts and sneakers forever. In my mid to late 20s I started adding polos and chinos as well. Right now (mid 30s) I started adding non-sneaker shoes with the intention of adding sport jackets in the next couple of years.

      What’s wrong with Van Heusen?
Compared to all the other nicer shit I’ve had all those shirts held up better than the rest.
The short sleeve shirts were really great during the summer too.

Meh, they were pretty "middle age man" core for a 20 year old and I only ever bought the $5 clearance ones.

The biggest problem was that I’m short and absolutely nothing was tailored. Let alone the fact that it was all that checkered pattern.

Well that makes sense. For my build the 15 1/2 sized shirts all fit rather nicely, but I understand.

Up until 20 all I wore were a plain T shirt + levi 505 + black running shoes
20 to 23 I switched to button ups for work, kek

Same. I’ve dressed the same since my college days.
Most of the graphic tees I own are from the early – mid 00s. So I have a lot of shit like “The cake is a lie” or “You’ve Lost The Game” on them.
Pair that with jeans and 10 year old new balances and you have what I look on an average day. I have a lot white t-shirts for when I want to wear button up shirts too.

As a SOCAL surf/snow guy yes. I wear RL cargo shorts, Independent Trucks socks, some sort of surf/snow/skate t shirt, and some Altra shoes.

I have dressed this way since I was twelve; creeping up on forty and still rock this style. I have not worn a trouser in like ten years. I wear a Paul Stuart polo shirt to be fancy.

    I’m 28 so no.
In fact, I kinda like getting older. I’ve always been more attracted to the way 30 year olds dress. Trying to fit in when I was 20 was much harder than it is now.

Yeah, I agree, the clothes that seem "natural" on older guys are much nicer.
I’m 32 now, and in the past 3 years or so I’ve started paying attention to my clothing, which I never did before. So, now I actually pay attention to colors/patterns, whereas when I was younger it was just "closest shirt, jeans, shoes" every day.
The main thing I’ve been plateauing on is pants. I still wear jeans 96% of the time, because darker denims are formal enough to look sharp but casual enough to not be overdressed. But they look ridiculous, IMO, with things like wool coats. If I wear slacks or something I can tell my friends are wondering why I’m dressed like I just came from the office even though it’s the weekend. I live in the California Bay Area, so it takes virtually no effort to overdress by a significant amount.

Not much has changed in the last 10 years, but I’m older and had changed styles a bit prior to that.
In my case it’s been mostly a gradual evolution as I grow older. Lately I’ve noticed that I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing stuff that I did when I was in my 20’s.

Yes and no. I still wear button down shirts tucked into my pants and boots, but the specific articles have changed and improved over the years

No, i used to wear hypebeast stuff in 2006-2015 starting with Nike SBs, then Bape (went to Japan and from Pondon on eBay until BWS LA opened up), then NBHD, Y-3, etc. Then I switched to random stuff. Now I pretty much wear the same thing everyday of oversized Propper cargo pants tucked into my socks and some triple black Nike sock darts with a black long sleeved Carhartt tee. This is the only recent picture I have of myself.
