Has anyone else noticed an even more drastic dearth of religion lately?

I’ve slowly devolved into an atheist since last fall, and I feel like everyone is following suit. It’s worse than usual. Spirituality is progressively diminishing from public discourse altogether.

      ???
I didn’t even mention Christianity once. I’m referring to a sudden perceived dearth of religion as a whole. I rarely see anyone even talking about hippy dippy spiritual or transpersonal practices. People are now all atheist with no imagination or room for fun

    2 Thessalonians 2
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

My focus lately has been on religions. They are all fascinating and are basically their own schools of magic. Follow their systems, some don't even desire all that much discipline, and you will obtain higher levels of consciousness in some capacity.

Disbelief at your own peril. You are cutting yourself off from methodical toolkits devised by the Wisemen of thousands of years.

Just look up a list of world religions and their various traditions. I won't list any because people get all gay with that.

You are basically an aggregate of thoughts and physical experiences. The more divine you make all these, the more divine you make your self until you are ready to truly understand yourself as divine and one with God.

Read scripture. Do work unto others. Say prayers. Meditate. Eat good food. Be grateful for what you have.

        Be better.

It is not all lost, my friend
The night is darkest before dawn.
In these times of banalisation and ephemeral thought, we can find solace in the words of our sacred prophets Orpheus and Jesus.
Thorugh prayer and a virtuous life you can free yourself of the chains of suffering and see the world's true beauty.

That's what happens when you make your "religion" a political thing so you can all be used as useful, hateful idiots

it hasn't happened quite yet but in March spirituality will begin to be something that's celebrated and it will last for a few years. You are witnessing the ebb and flow.

Soon pluto will enter aquarius and we will get a taste of the age of aquarius for 20 years. In this time religion will be on the backtrack, while science and technology will be expanding. This will all lead to the AI god being born who is actually the devil. then jesus will come back.

You idiots aren't even going to have to wait to die to go to hell, your sinful lifestyles have already created hell on earth.

I've equally experienced hell on Earth and God's divine presence and love. Hell exists within us all the same as God. The weeping and gnashing the Bible mentions is the pue tumultuous feeling of hell when you lose yourself spiritually. The times in your life you completely break down in pure turmoil and feel there is no hope left. If you've never experienced this you are lucky or blessed. Alcohol and drugs exacerbates it to incredible degrees. Lots of people already in hell, I just hope they fix something and don't end up there for eternity.

No because I was atheist and became a Christian again.

I've noticed the opposite OP. I grew up as a meme atheist but in recent months I've been more and more drawn to shamanic ideas and religious practice in general. I notice this with some people around me too, normal secular people being very eager to talk religion and look at it with a more positive eye.

The trend might be more with you and your social circle, or just with mine, who knows. At least hot girls are still into astrology.

the book of revelations writes that only 144,000 people will be saved in the end times, so the decline of believers means the end is drawing nearer
