You fucking retards really need to listen to Jimi Hendrix,Nico, and The Moody Blues more. No more B-Pop for you fags.

those were all after 1966, and I hope by "b-pop" you aren't referring to the OP song lmao

British Pop (I didn't listen to it nor do I plan to,also Jimi and Nico were definetely active around that time)

Are you trying to say OP is "British pop" or what

          >Jimi and Nico were definetely active around that time
Hendrix's first single was late 1966 but yes Nico's first single with TVU was around that time. The TVU & Nico singles weren't even comparatively more complex than East-West, or more obscure, so Idk what you're trying to say. "You guys should listen to TVU&Nico instead!!" Huh. I think everyone here has listened to it already.

I see you in so many threads and you're always posting the same retarded thing.. "Stop listening to that and listen to Nico instead for some reason."

Because you all have the tendency to choose the normie and/or redditor picks for psychedelia and boomer rock when better shit was made. Also not just Nico,I would never claim she was end all be all. Plenty of other bands you fags should listen to aswell but probably won't because unironically most of you just want to look/sound smart without anything actually challenging.

Actually I looked it up and yeah most of TVU & Nico was recorded by this time not just the singles, but I'm still trying to decipher what the fuck you're trying to say.

TVU&Nico is more well known these days than Butterfield Blues Band... I have listened to several of the bands you posted, and I'm actually doing a listen through of a lot of rock albums from the time in release order, popular and unpopular. I just came across East-West and liked it a lot. I liked Love, The Pretty Things, and Jefferson Airplane, but so far they didn't have any songs better than this one. So, calm down and stop complaining without knowing what you're actually complaining about.

I disagree strongly, those are like three of my favorite bands of all time tbh alongside ofc The Velvet Underground,Nico,Jimi Hendrix, and my other usual namedrops lol. Fair enough though. Have you gotta to CAN or Funkadelic yet or are you still a few years off?

Post a song of theirs that was recorded before this time that was better then mate, so we can get some substance in here instead of pointless antagonism.

This track and album are kino

He was in some other thread pushing basic dad rock 60s bands like Cream

Butterfield Blues band were most definitely from Chicago not UK.

Cream are pretty good once you get into them. They had some very basic filler blues tracks but also some psychedelic stuff which was absolutely incredible. More intresting than the Butterfield blues band by a good margin lol.

Tomorrow are pretty cool, they had fillery Beatleslop songs was their problem. Sort of equivalent to how I feel about Cream though.

Softely to Me,The Castle,Seven and Seven is,My Flash is on you,and Heart full of Soul easily.

I liked Softly to Me and Heart Full of Soul. That Yardbirds album did especially stand out among 1965 albums. I didn't get to Da Capo yet and I'm saving listening to the singles for when I get to the full album.

Da Capo isn't as good as The Debut S/T nor Forever Changes overall tbh but it does have some shining moments. Namely Comes in Colors,The Castle,Seven and Seven is,and Stephenie knows Who. Don't listen to the entire album just those songs would be my advice+every song on The S/T EXCEPT for Little Red Book+all of Forever Changes.

The Moody Blues is fucking boring shit lmao

Fair I guess. I find them relaxing and meditative. They take a certain attention span which most of you lack.

              >Definetely from Chicago not The UK

Not really my point but ok. You're not wrong that Cream has SOME songs like that though, just that the good outweighs the bad once you dive into the psychedelic end of it. I would say the same for Ten Years After,Shocking Blue, and honestly Hendrix too. The Blues Rock and/or Beatleslop Songs by any one of these bands tend to not be the ones that stood up with time that well.
