OP's pic may be bullshit, but it's a valid thing to be concerned about.
While GMOs aren't necessarily bad, companies like ConAgra aren't just using gene mods to make crops more resilient or have higher yields. They also insert the genetic equivalent of malware into their proprietary crops, causing them to produce nonviable seeds or no seeds at all. With sufficient cross-pollination, non-GMO crops (or other GMO crops that haven't already been hacked to die after so many generations) can be rendered unpropagatable. It's basically inevitable that we'll eventually see a grain crisis caused by one of these suicide bomber GMOs having a really successful pollination season.
Perhaps the worst part of it is that the corpos using these GMOs will sue for damages if neighboring farms get naturally infected with their proprietary genes. And American ~~*courts*~~ rule in their favor.

Complete destruction of the food supply.

or actually probably the normal looking ones are gmo since they spliced antifungal genes into the corn so no need for fungicide

are you talking about sorghum? because thats what corn was originally, but through selective breeding the natives manage to make corn

Sorghum is not what corn originated from, it's teosinte. Sorghum is an old world plant it started somewhere near Sudan.

They’ve been putting that shit on corn for a hundred goddamn years. Back in the 80s I was planting blue green corn seed with my grandfather on his farm. That’s just to keep the seed ok. It doesn’t do shit to the final product.

Fungicide and a fertilizer. Just keeps it from rotting if too wet, and helps it sprout if too dry.

I saw red coated ones that were laying on the ground in the field behind my house. I believed the red coated helps them germinate even if it's not raining.

If it tastes good I don't care. My life isn't worth living and anything that gets me to death faster I'm all for with the exception of suicide.

If only the GMO produce focused on nutrition and yield instead of purely yield. The most red apples are borderline uneatable since they were altered for color instead of edibility.

You must be new to think that the chaims won’t just send the food to Africa and let the white people starve.

That's why you have to grow your own seeds. Smaller spot grown just for that, plastic baggy to prevent unwanted pollinatings and mixing. Get in there with a paintbrush.

post pics of the seeds youve grown. i love it when cityfags tell farmers how to feed the world and a piece of me wish we would listen to their advice because there wouldnt be enough food produced for everyone but im sure the farmers wouldnt starve

a lot of famers sell their food to incompetent dark skin countries, they are still subsidized(reimbursed) when they do this too.

Farmers get subsidies to keep their fields ready to grow certain crops if needed for a war time environment

for cereal grain they get five cents a bushel to keep the price of bread down. they also can enroll on the crp program which is marketed as letting the land rest but crp stands for crop reduction program to keep prices up.

nagger, i worked on a farm since i could walk have probably trucked a million tons of grain to market. there is a middle man between the farmer and the buyer. wheat, corn, sunflowers, milo its all gets dumped in the same hopper whether is gmo or not. you are eating the exact same shit grain that is sent to other countries and thats a fact. stop faking ike you know it makes you look stupid

I like the extra effect of holding the GMO ones with a glove, like they're poison and have to be handled with care.

When I was a kid my mom bought this and for some reason I thought it was Pokemon branded candy or something maybe a couple years after Pokemon came out in the US. No idea what the fuck I was thinking but I sprayed it into my mouth. I hate ketchup with a burning passion and always have. My mom laughed so hard at my retardedness.

farmers have known since the 90s that Monsanto was changing their crops so that farmers would be required to buy seeds every year from Monsanto

They are patented. They even will go around checking farms for the seeds, if even one is found, they sue you. Wind can blow that shit onto your farm and you are fucked, or they can just drop it. They are a very evil evil corp.

I read that they sued a farmer because bees took Pollen from a GMO farm and cross pollinated crops on his farm
