the cts 4 and 5 are literally just a camero but better in every single way

they're far heavier and aren't as good on the track.

the point of a luxury sedan is not to race on a track

probably not a substitute for the camaro, then.

99% of people with either will just do highway pulls anyway. If you want a track car buy an 10 year old car and pull the seats out.

Stock 1LE pads are Ferodos, same as the Z06 and most other GM performance cars. The car also has huge rotors and plenty of brake cooling. I can run 10+ consecutive laps at places like Buttonwillow with a 125mph front straight and the tires fade before the brakes do.
I did change the fluid though since it's just generic ACdelco stuff.

just another example of why the camaro is a fucking beast of a machine. you have the SS 1LE right? those costed around 45k. amazing vehicle for the kind of performance and durability you;d only find in 911 GT3s.

I paid 39k+tax for mine in 2018. 1SS 1LE with no options except paint.
Sad that you need to spend 60k MSRP on a dark horse (100k after dealer tip) to get a similar performance car nowadays. If you can still order one, the 2024 1LE is still a pretty great deal at ~50k.

                I don't like the Newer 5.0L.
they need to many RPMs to pull hard.
                they feel dead below 4,500rpm.
while LS or LTs pull hard at any RPM.

They redline at 6k and will get valve float at coyote numbers. They don't make power everywhere, they just only make power low down and into the mid range which is where you are when normally shifting anyway. You never leave the powerband if it starts at 2k

      Good Job asshole.
Now we ALL are forced to pay a $5000 premium for Edge Case capabilities that will seldom be called upon.
      >muh, she's got Laguna Seca potential
