Give up casual clothes, be a man and wear a suit and tie

I’m back.

I’m still riding my little Honda across America in a suit and tie. I’ve traveled over 4500 miles so far doing this. I’m on day 34. I’ve wild camped for the last 18 days (sometimes surrounded by bears and mountain lions). I’ve spoken with the homeless, military veterans, college students, adventurers, farmers, etc along the way and encouraged every one of them to start wearing a suit and tie more often because men need to be empowered and this is the way to do it. Your dress matters so much in this world and it’s insane that few understand this.

The suit and tie is a uniform — if you wear it you join the team of men. Wear up, /fashion/. I’m trying to do good for the world and hope you will too.

Better to look like a young man than an old boy

keep it up, I wish suits were more common. wish you didn’t pick what appears to be a black suit, though, looks like you just wore the one suit you bought for a funeral

Most say I look like I’m headed to a wedding. Nothing but compliments so far though.

Suit and tie is a uniform. Men wear uniforms. All I care about is uniting people. I say it starts with the men. Wear up and show you’re a man or continue complaining about politics or the world or whatever. I wear purple because it’s red and blue combined. Don’t care about the history or quality of the suit. Mine was cheap.

Ignore the guy claiming he’s Doug, either Doug has really lost it and going through another manic episode or it’s bait. I appreciate what you’re doing, sounds fun and like something you can tell your kids when you’re older. It’s cool. Keep it up.

Bro, you are too good for this board. I legitimately admire your thoughtfulness and your wholesome attitude. I mean, you have obviously browsed this board: how many poor misguided bastards have you seen dressed up in women’s clothing? They look ridiculous and it’s sad and it’s dangerous. I’m with you bro: every man should have a suit and it needn’t be flashy or expensive.

The bizarre use of stock photos leads me to believe this guy isnt just a troll but legitimately mentally "different" from us normal people.

Suits are the most chucked uniform. Feels like you’re lacking self confidence in your own masculinity and are projecting a larger than life ideal onto yourself in hopes of making up for it.

is it just me or do doug and honda guy have a vaguely similar facial structure, but they are polar opposites with the first doing outrageous outfits and the latter the most average suits… and then they are even in a thread together

Suit is basically 19th century equivalent of a sweatpants and t-shirt. It does not make you a man. That you think it does just shows lazy- and simpleness.
