Germany will be a fusion powered robot society

Germany has a plan. Free energy from fusion. Free work from AI robots. Free love from robo-waifus.

Why do you doubt the power of German engineering?

Why is fusion power better than fission power? Isnt it all just used to heat water?

      Anonymous

Order of magnitude more energy potential and less or no waste.

        Anonymous

        >less or no waste
Nonsense. There's still alot of waste. It just doesn't take 100,000 years to break down. You still have to replace all the panels in the fusion reactor due to radiation damage and dispose of them safely. I saw claims of 500 or so years in terms of half life, which ironically is what coal ash supposedly has.
So we are spending billions replacing the flexibility of coal for multiple sources, due to inherent pollutants, to centralise fusion so the goyim are 100% reliant on the commercial factor of electricity.
There's a reason why no government hasn't just mandated every house be reconstructed and designed for maximum solar exposure with a sodium battery bank and its because they want you to actively pay private companies to generate your power while they also absorb subsidies.
Energy independence should be pursued against the private generation market at all costs and less reliance on oil giants the better.

More power, less waste, doesn't have meltdowns, fuel potentially more abundant (deuterium can be harvested from the sea. Tritium is a bit more complicated).

        Anonymous

They claim that tritium can be made by cycleing helium through the fusion core so it can receive neutron bombardment from the fusion process and then turn into tritium
It's also a byproduct of conventional nuclear fission and for most of history has typically been harvested for use in hydrogen bombs as the main fuel in the fist stage

all of those things you described literally describe molten salt reactors, which were developed a long time ago and still not commercialized. Why are these hacks wasting everyones time and money chasing fusion when they should just commercialize and mass produce molten salt reactors?

Fusion is a pipe dream right now. Fission can actually end a lot of the world's burden. That's why none of this green energy has plans for Nuclear power. There's no money to be made.

just look at some of the carparks by BYD (e car manufacturer in china), they're huge. Yet they have shown to be catastrophic in actual driving (fire, no airbags, shitty door seams iirc and such). So all that manufacturing cost is more or less going to waste, compared to a diesel driving for 20+ years..That time a nuclear powered car was advertised (I think by Ford), those were times.

        >Is there a solution to the "just throw your pass into the trash, being staatenlos".?
Bribe some country to take them, maybe Canada

Trudaeu would be all too happy for more diversion and inclusion I guess you wouldn't even have to bribe him except for transport maybe. I'd say send them on ships. Frees up the debris on Italys beaches and they have experience on the sea anyway..

Taiwan isn't magically super knowledgeable about semi-conductors for no reason, we told them to make fucking semi-conductors and research it because the world decided they should specialize in it.

VW Diesel scandal was the upper management being retards. They didn't want the consumer cattle having to fill up adblue between inspections so they just shut off the injection.

The worse things are the timing chain problems, camshafts being of poor quality, piston seals burning up, low quality pistons, and engine blocks being from the shittiest aluminium.
Fuck VAG. But also fuck the cattle buying their cars. Their interior quality also went to shit, can't really talk about other german shit as I don't have enough knowledge about Mercedes or BMW.

Why do they pour billions in the climate cult industries, then?

Because at the very least, they produce results, even if its a net energy loss. It's just they export the pollution to the third world where the manufacturing is done via coal.
If countries weren't nagger ass retarded, they'd realise that coal isn't remotely as dirty as it once was and modern coal reactors are cleaner than modern gas designs and use less water at the same time while being cheaper to fuel.
Instead we get muh windturbines that blender birds, drive whales and fish to suicide and happen to be a net deficit in pollution due to the fact they are unrecyclable.

Russian Federation has already built MOX-fuel reactor.

    Fusion hasn't even built a proof-of-concept station.
Not a single experiment has proven that it's possible to produce more e/m energy that is spent on fusing elements. They don't even measure the neutrino output, which leads me to conclusion, that they aren't really doing any experiments at all. It's just another totally real Moon landing.

    >German engineering
lmao, like the BER airport or Stuttgart 21?
German efficiency is a myth. What we are good at is conmanship though.

    Any updates on wendelstein reactor?

      Unironically, yes.

A few young ambitious, Germanic Christian engineers from the Wendelstein 7-x team, have decided to commercialize the stellarator design. They founded Proxima Fusion, which is poised to be the only working fusion reactor start-up globally… as it is the only one using a working design, a continous stellarator fusion reactor.

They also have a policy not to allow women or non-whites join their startup.

Ian Hogarth of Plural, says, “Stellarators offer the most robust and clearest path to fusion energy. The Proxima team has the energy and the speed that we need. They are ecosystem players, with a thrilling sense of ambition building on top of the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator – a masterpiece of German engineering and leadership.”

Benjamin Erhart, General Partner at UVC Partners, adds, “In the coming years, the energy issue will be one of our most existential ones. We already know today that we need a clever mix of different energy sources and we Germans can deliver this.”
“Proxima’s efforts for fusion leverage the massive investment made on stellarators in Germany. We are convinced that the team is ready to change the picture – for the world, and particularly for Germany and a German-led Europe, which are in urgent need of reliable sources beyond the intermittent and unstable energy produced by wind and solar.”

who cares? its energy storage that matters. The problem is that good energy storage is so important for national offense that any developments would imediatly be put into military service. You invent the scifi energy cell every lazer gun has and General Strongly will take it from you and use it to power tanks and mechs and exoskeletons and railguns and the shit will never be used for civilian purposes since it can be used to steal energy from power lines and businesses.

WOW, 7 MILLION EUROBUCK!!! Holy shit, they could probably afford to build half a parking lot after the environmental assessments and permit fees.

7 million Euro for German engineers is like 100 million Dollars for mutt engineers in Commiefornia.
