Well we were having a totally normal conversation about porn and I let it slip that I've been into trans porn since I was like 10. Trans women are supper attractive to me and I let that and a few other things out (thanks to being a bit drunk and high). My friend initially called me a fag jokingly but as we kept talking about stuff he got more and more serious and then just dropped the trans accusation on me
That's a weird reason to accuse someone of being trans for, unless there's more to the story than you're telling us. Like did you admit you'd like to be a woman or something?
>Like did you admit you'd like to be a woman or something?
...like sort of? I said that I've always been jealous of trans women and cis women. I told my friend that I've never felt good being a man and that even when I look good I can only feel very brief and shallow positive feelings towards my appearance (which after some discussion I learned wasn't totally normal)
I mean, that definitely sounds like trans feelings. The best advice I can give you is try non-committal things and see how you feel about them. How do you feel about growing your hair out longer? What if you shaved your body hair? Let your nails grow a little longer? Think about how you'd feel about not having facial hair. If you can, buy some feminine clothes and see if you feel comfortable wearing them. And through all of this, reflect at every step what feels right to you. You don't have to transition this second or even come out, just see how you feel in a couple of months.
>How do you feel about growing your hair out longer?
I've done that and I liked the way it made me feel and look but having long hair ended up just being too annoying/interfered with my job
>What if you shaved your body hair? Let your nails grow a little longer?
I've tried shaving my body and it feels fantastic at first but then it grows back almost immediately and causes problems with my skin
>Think about how you'd feel about not having facial hair.
I'd love to not ever have facial hair
>If you can, buy some feminine clothes and see if you feel comfortable wearing them
...I've done this but I didn't like it because it just highlighted that my body was a shape that made me feel ugly

Okay well, all of this does sound very trans. Especially growing your hair out long before you even consider if you're trans, classic repression trait. Recommend speaking to a therapist about this if you haven't already.

oh my fucking goddddd you people are so fucking annoying.. im so sick of troons projecting literally everything onto others, creating some perfect story about their own issues with their identity that CLEARLY apply specifically to themselves. being 'trans' is not a fucking essence, it's the action of transitioning to assimilate into the opposite sex. I swear you are all part of a leddit hivemind implanting seeds of doubt into young men who don't fit the perfect picture of masculinity, which, is entirely fucking normal and not pathological. KYS

Hey, I understand it's your first day on LULZ so I just wanted you to know that you can actually respond to multiple posts at once.

Why did you fixate on the hair comment? I'm not saying that everyone who grows their hair long is trans (or has gender dysphoria if that's what you prefer) but that on top of everything else the OP said, it could be an indication of underlying feelings of dysphoria. OP came here asking a question that boiled down to "am I trans?" and people gave him the best answers we could based on the information he provided about himself. In the post you're replying to, I specifically said that he should talk to a therapist, lots of other posters have said similar things and focused on the importance of remaining calm through this, processing his feelings in a healthy way. From the sounds of it, you'll only be happy if we all tell OP that there's zero chance he's trans.
>From the sounds of it, you'll only be happy if we all tell OP that there's zero chance he's trans.
stop being obtuse, there are clear pinkpillers in this thread with nefarious intentions. i appreciate the recommendation of talking to a professional about these feelings; but everyone in this thread and similar ones, instantly latch on to any semblance of dysphoria and turn it into convincing anon they are TRANS and only TRANS. I don't think that suffering from gender dysphoria equates to transsexuality, it's quite a regular occurrence for young gay men, or young heterosexual men that struggle upholding the standards expected of them. everyone holds such strict standards of gender conformity, and it's no different for people of our affiliation to be doing the same thing. Men can have feminised brains, men don't have to like their body hair, they don't have to like having a short hair-length.
'eggs' don't fucking exist and im sick of that kind of culture. it's good to interrogate feelings of gender dysphoria, and if you find out being a transsexual is the path for you, great, but it doesn't always have to be that way.

where you aren't man enough or are too much of man are two different things. being in conflict with your gender is a clear marker.

I for one dont believe you're trans OP. did you wish you were female when young? no? then ur not trans congrats. gender nonconforming behavior doesnt mean trans
this all sounds very trans, ngl. take a deep breath and maybe just focus on what feels good. Keeping a journal to write out your feelings around gender might be really helpful. It does sound to me like there's enough stuff here that you should talk to a therapist.
It's just brainwashing because your friend is in a more fucked up mental space than even you are. Go work out and get a hobby that isn't going to make me laugh at your trash ass lifestyle from the front page of the Mongolian basket weaving forum. Probably ditch that shitty "friend" too.

well, i dont either
I'm starting to worry about it but I don't really have anyone to talk with about it

Don't talk about this kind of stuff here anon, these tranny homosexuals will fill your head with nonsense and try to pinkpill you
Doesn't really seem like it, seems more like you're just transphobic tbh
