What's a good modern gtk app that can manage big libraries of music? back when I used gnome, gnome's default music app is dogshit, lollypop used to do the job but now it's practically abandoned.

I didn't think about it, Edge on Linux may actually be GOAT only because it won't try to chain-load all of the dependencies MS chain loads into edge on Windows which results in it bloating with ads and becoming unbearable.

Why? Sincere question. What does Windows do that Linux isn't just better at?

The worst things, like syncing your files without permission. Even after you unlink your pc and you turn off the cloud whatever thing and after a random update it turns back on on its own and starts uploading your files to the cloud again. Shit I don't need and don't need to go through at all... dirty israeli shit.

Windows and Mac are catered to people who just want things to work out of the box / not interested in learning or tinkering with computers.

Linux is the opposite - its the engineers OS

First of all, it's the wrong distro. You should install something that is arch based.

Secondly, I'd install a window manager, not a DE. Start there.
