Unironically have been wanting ones for years but I barely see them anywhere. Not irl and not on people online either. Is there something cursed about them I’m not aware of?

What I like about jodhpurs is that they look good with a suit. Much more than chukkas, chelseas just look plebian. Unlined suede chukkas are apparently peak comfy though.

Chelseas have no string which looks really weird to me, like they’re meant for runway models and not normal people. Chukkas defianately.

You need to be an absolute gigachad to wear chelseas because they are very feminine. If you are manly, it alplifies the manliness. If you are dorky it amplifies the gayginess

    Chukkas are just incel shoes

Get a load of these gays dissing chukkas as if chukkas weren’t the obsession “go-to” boot of /fashion/ 5 years ago.

I’m gonna go buy some Clark’s™ right now matter of fact.

Black Chelsea + black suit pants + black vest + graphic tee or colorful turtleneck

Cheapest way to look the most /fashion/ in the room

definitely chelseas. I say this as someone who owns a pair of chukkas and not chelseas. I have made a mistake, chukkas are hecking ugly peasant-looking footwear. they look bad both with more formal and more casual styles, they only fit with the r/MFA "smart casual" uniform which makes you look like a dad with autism
if I wanted that I’d just wear my newbalances and at least be comfy

      These.

On the opposite side, you can wear rugged Chelsea boots with anything, workwear, business casual, smart casual and even streetwear.

        This.

According to /BTG/ jodhpurs and Chelseas are too slick and thus makes the wearer look feminine/bottomy

Depends on the color scheme. Pic related. I’ve also never seen a good dark brown leather pair of Chelsea’s that look overly feminine. People seem to have this obsession with buying them in black and in suede, which is another story.

my black suede chelsea boots are the single article of clothing I’ve gotten the most compliments for in my life
wear them with slightly slim fit black suit pants, I can’t think of any better shoe if you want to look like a smooth heckboy, it’s up to you to decide whether that’s desirable or not

I want to replace my laceups with chelseas or loafers
I have a bright blue suit, not as bright as pic rel, but this is the closest I could find
Can I wear it with black shoes + black belts or do I need brown?

Lol, it’s literally the same last as the normal derbies and look completely normal. If anything, the vamps and quarters break up the outline and make them look visually shorter than a chelsea, which still looks just fine. Unless your mother broke and folded your feet like a peasant girl in 1890s China, that what human feet look like.
