There's interest in using hydrogen ICE for motorsports since the cost is irrelevant.
Besides that EVs don't have the range to replace racecars

Reminder EV's will NEVER EVER win LeMans, can't last for 24H just like EV cucks can't last in bed.

Engine swaps aren't allowed by the regulations iirc.

almost all manufacturers are moving away from cars being raw or visceral in any sense, it’s literally the opposite of what their marketing is trying to achieve

probably the Isle of Man but that might just be the local political climate.

EV racing is going to be unfun as the role of a pit crew and engineer is diminished. You probably have to have every team run the exact same stock motor and cannot let them mess with the software packages. Lame.

      >probably the Isle of Man but that might just be the local political climate.
Unlikely. They introduced TT Zero in 2010 or 2011 and it ran until 2019 (from memory). They only did one lap of the course because the bikes didn't have the range with the performance to do any more. The ICE race is a 5 lap race (though it was reduced to 4 laps for 2022).

Won't be bikes. EV motorcycles just can't keep up.

Same as EV cars. They can make them stupid fast in a straight line by winding more coils onto the motor, but the necessary increase in weight because of the batteries makes them wallowing hogs when it comes time to brake or steer.

    I'll indulge OP's homosexualry.
EVs won't replace internal combustion engines in motorsport, there's no need to do it, the performance isn't there at high speeds on long tracks, range would be a problem, and even if "muh emissions" and le mandatory forced switch to EVs ever happened it wouldn't affect motorsports since they're that, sports with their own rules and regulations.
Most you'll see is cars switching to being hybrids since you can get the best of both worlds at a minimal performance cost.
That being said, F1 is gay as frick and I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to implement it (and eventually fail).

They’ll do whatever organising bodies regulate them to. And the FIA simp hardcore for big OEMs like Mercedes and VW because they bring in far more money than do garagistas like Ilmor and Cosworth. If the OEMs say “go EV so we can market the road relevancy or we pull our funding”, the FIA will fall on their knees and lick the boots.
      >create a competitor organising body
The FIA has stated they will pull all approvals and series from any track that hosts a non-FIA-sanctioned motorsports competition. So any track that hosts an FIA-competitor championship will thenceforth be reliant on that non-FIA body to provide all their funding.

I hate the antichrist too, but it'd be far more likely that they'd make or promote a separate category for them. Not that they's give a frick about backlash, but a lot of people would straight up refuse to compete and considering oil sponsors I wouldn't be surprised if those also went away from a lot of categories.
It definitely wouldn't affect small amateur racing, which is better nowadays than anything listed by OP anyways.

Formula E has a contractual lockdown on EV single seaters until like 2035. After then all bets are off.

Oil companies have been investing heavily in alt energy (chiefly solar and wind) ever since the EU announced they’d be phasing out dino juice by 2040

And? The FIA doesn't even regulate the majority of motorsport series.

Not only that, you are actually stupid if you believe circuits lose the privilege of hosting FIA events if they host non-FIA sanctioned races.
