Eating customs unique to your country/region

Here in Scandinavia (at least Norway and Sweden) you are only allowed to eat candy on Saturdays to protect your teeth, serving candy to a guest on "normal" days is blasphemy, only tolerated if you are sick or pregnant. The only exceptions are Easter, Christmas and birthdays.

Here in Tennessee every time you eat country fried steak you have to masturbate to completion at the thought of that time you walked in on your sister taking a shower.

Here in Poland a lot of people are so poor they often make a tree bark soup. We even have special laws allowing you to harvest the bark from state forests.

In germany bricklayers and construction worker are legally obliged to exclusivly consome raw minced pork for breakfast on workdays. It's called Maurermarmelade. It's what gives the german bear his strength. Refusing Maurermarmeladenfrühstück as a tourist or guest, will be meet with confusion and later disgust, in the end considering you too week to be called a real man.

Here in America it's customary to slap your belly in a drumbeat rhythm and roar monstrously whenever you're hungry, and after you've eaten the meal, burping and farting loudly is seen as a sign of approval. If your mouth is clean by the time the meal is done and you do not burp or fart it is seen as an insult to the cook. Napkins are also discouraged, seen as being extremely pretentious and only used by "homosexuals".

leaving op there's seven posters and nine replies, besides your answers we have still 8 replies, and still you have to make all that mental gym to say is not when "someone" actually wrote down two sad replies in the same fashion

this is funny cause it's true, there is a big debate on weather you butter the bread first or not though. no butter fags are the worst.

There is no debate. There is just right (thick butter) and wrong (no butter). Debate can be had about pickles and the cut of the onions.

never had it with pickles, but I do prefer diced onions over rings, easier to eat.

Yeah, that's what I prefer too. Some even add Maggie, but that's honestly a waste of good Mett. Bun+Butter+at least same thickness Mett as the bun is+onions+salt and pepper.

Here in the USA when you eat at a restaurant it is custom to clap as the waiter sets down your food, similar to clapping when a plane lands. It is believed the food will go through you as promptly and cleanly as it came to you. Not clapping is seen as a sign of disrespect and ungratefulness, akin to not tipping the waiter. Some foreigners have been spit on for forgetting to clap or say the Pledge of Allegiance before eating.

What kind of autism is that? Normal humans understand humor and play along, when they see it, as did everybody before you started to get salty about the last two guys supposedly having to be the same because you thought you really need to jizz on a american bbq. Absolute state of LULZ.
