Who else has the death sentence of their love life, especially in the fag community, from early thinning? I'm unable to even prevent mine in my 20s because of bad side effects with the only treatment available. Any baldcels wanna weigh in on their experience?
I have everything else going for me whether it be my smile, jawline or figure. But nothing is more important than my hair to me, it's so over. All I ever wanted to do was be a cute guy whether it be for guys or girls and I'm railroaded into having a shit hairline or buff bald guy in the future.
And no I will not take estrogen to try and help it.
try minoxidil and or finasteride at least. I recovered most of my hair with HRT and minox. You could at least give minox a shot
>All I ever wanted to do was be a cute guy
>railroaded into having a shit hairline or buff bald guy in the future.
Baldmaxxing has more longevity, you're not going to be a "cute guy" in your late 20s or early 30s even with hair, you'd just be a cringe ex-twink who can't handle twink death. Like a Millenial who still cuddlies his "stuffies". Cringe.
Do not do this OP, baldmaxx instead. A functional cock is more important than halting hairloss
Minoxidil though. As topical spray. Barely any side effects and at the very least it slows or halts balding
I'd love to, by side effects I meant bad ones. The same day I take finasteride I get bad chest pain and worse, same for my brother, he even needed chest surgery from taking it for too long. Genetic predisposition I assume.
Predisposition to what? What pls
Predisposition to gynecomastia which is a rare side effect of finasteride.
Oh right I thought he meant something bad like heart or blood pressure stuff I take more than I should a lot of times in hopes of accidental gyno and other side effects
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's actually impossible to get chest pains on fin.
>It's actually impossible to get chest pains on fin
What the fuck do you mean it's "impossible" to get chest pains on finasteride, what a stupid sweeping sentence
It's a rare but known side effect because finasteride can rarely cause gynecomastia, which can manifest as chest pain to start with (because you're growing titties)
Yknow you can say "it shouldn't cause chest pains" but there's not really any medications where it's impossible to get x on baka anon
You think I'd lie about something I felt while taking the medication? It happened all three times i tried to go back on it at different times just to make sure it was a side effect, and like I said my brother had the same issue and grew boobs.
these chest pains might actually be gyno developing because of it and yes that is possible but people often conflate the rate of this side effect when its literally 1% likely to have this side effect.
my case is different because i already had gyno since puberty so it wouldn't be any difference at all for me.
hm well if you suppress your testosterone to cis f levels through estrogen injections you won't need DHT blockers like finasteride or dutasteride, or even androgen blockers like spiro
>because of bad side effects with the only treatment available.
did you try tho
minox sides are completely reversible
>And no I will not take [literally the only real solution] to try and help it.
ok
If you're balding simply rename yourself;
>Charles
>Halligan
>Niles
You are now serving dick in a dignified and respectable manner.
Just get on estrogen (+fin and oral minox) and get ftm top surgery, now you get to be a cute "guy"
have you considered taking dutasteride? if seen people who had severe side effects with finasteride switch to dutasteride and find that they get low to zero side effects.
I will check that out, thanks. The last thing I want is estrogen in my system though.
it isn't estrogen. neither finasteride is. its only purpose is to kill off DHT which while is a part of testosterone, it doesn't mean its killing your testosterone off. infact some people reported having higher increase in testosterone under finasteride (but lower DHT of course).
Fin usually increases your testosterone levels 5-10%.
But if Fin was giving OP gyno (which he doesn't want) Duta will be the same or slightly worse.
Maybe topical Fin would help? Or topical estradiol rubbed into the scalp?
>Fin usually increases your testosterone levels 5-10%
Does duts do this too?
Yes duta does too. They both inhibit the conversion of testosterone into DHT, thus elevating testosterone.
Though despite that some people get sexual side effects due to fin/duta inhibiting the production of certain neuroactive steroids too. My last BF was taking it, and he went from cumming to fast, to an hour of sex was pretty normal.
I got early onset mpb at 19. I manage it and had some regrowth with estrogen injections and duta as fin or mono e did nothing while cypro and bica could only halt it
look into microneedling and minoxidil therapy papers. androgenic hair loss is basically entirely treatable, reversible even.
I had long hair since I was a kid, but then started shaving my head. Like gay men still liked me. Although, even though I am 5'4, normal people started to become afraid of me. But like being more masculine looking never makes gay men less attracted too you.
Like you, I am and was super attached to my hair, and eventually transitioned. It only makes loving men easier. You should just take Fin, or E, and get gyno surgery if you can afford it. Or just transition, no gay man with long pretty hair would ever feel odd in a dress.
I honestly might not mind needing surgery for gyno eventually, the issue moreso was how painful it was for me in my chest right away. Maybe my Fibromyalgia/Neuropathy made it feel worse, who knows.
It's a good option if your attached to your hair. Breast pain, or tenderness usually passes too tho anon. Its generally not a permanent feature.
Could also try taking gabapentin with the hair loss drugs initially for a month. It's used a lot for neuropathic pain.
There's a massage that works and I'm trying it now and I'm starting to see little hairs growing in my bald spots
For anyone interested in the massage, here's the video
it helps to a degree because massage moves more blood into the scalp hence increase. but i doubt it can stop the inevitable loss due to DHT.
