is it /effay/?
no, do not wear shitty alternative band tees
do you actually listen to them?
I know homosexuals been going around wearing joy division shirts without actually knowing who they are
If you see a Misfits or Nirvana tee, the chances of them listening to them are pretty low.
>If you see a Misfits or Nirvana tee, the chances of them listening to them are pretty low.
I can confirm this is accurate. I wear a Misfits shirt a lot and I have for over 25 years but I also still listen to the Danzig stuff pretty frequently but.
>boomer band shirt
yea that checks out
i love the fit and the vibe anon.
I unironically have only ever seen one person with an UP shirt, but see Nirvana shirts daily. I live in the middle of a large metro area. Why is this
>do you actually listen to them?
>I know homosexuals been going around wearing joy division shirts without actually knowing who they are
The most boomer ass answer when in comes to bands t shirts, next to " name 3 songs from them" nobody gives a fuck anymore dude, its been 30 fucking years, the last good needle drop they did was the one kurt dropped from his arm before painting the roof with the leftovers from his brain
Nirvana shirts are the easiest way of spotting a poser. They either dont listen to nirvana, or they do, but they havent listened to any other grunge, because if they did they would realize that nirvana is C tier.
Soundgarden, stp, screaming trees and perl jam are leagues better
Pearl Jam and STP suck, tho
your mama sucks cocks
STP is based and so are AiC and pumpkins
It’s a buttrock you tasteless white trash retard
Lmao nirvana is the only halfway decent grunge band. Those ones you mentioned are absolute garbage.
Soundgarden, Audio Slave are top tier ngubo wtf you smoking?
Band tshirts are only passable if you're a cute girl
What about cute boys?
That's a boy?
I wear many band shirts that I find cool and I've never listened to most of them. You're the posers who think it's a requirement to listen to a band in order to like a shirt design because it references the band. Should I also join the army to be able to wear military cargos?
Yes, yes you should
I mean, I'm not that gate keeping guy that thinks you have to know every detail about the band to wear thier shirt but it is pretty cringe is you don't like or them or haven't even listened to them.
So what? It's a cool shirt, how is it cringe to wear a shirt you like?
It is typically presumed that when you wear a band's shirt you are doing so to advertise the fact that you like that band. I suppose the clothes you wear are at least partially a statement of who you are and you are clearly comfortable being a complete poser. Not that I would expect you to like any remotely soulful or otherwise good music but I can't help but think of this:
Music sucks but the font and artwork are pretty dope. Might have to cop a T.
I listen to ambient.
Is that like white noise
It's just lame. Everything you wear says a lot about who you are as a person. Someone who wears metal shirts listens to metal so when someone else who listens to metal sees that person wearing a metal shirt they see someone with similar interests and start up a conversation. If you wear a shirt of a band like "Hooded Menace" or "Obituary" and you don't actually listen to those bands it puts you in an awkward spot when someone who does listen to them thinks you both like the same thing and will confront you.
No, this is not true at all. I have never been approached by a stranger because of my shirts. Only people I know have ever asked me about them and I told them it's from a band or whatever. I wouldn't say that what I wear says much about me as a person. I wear what I think looks cool and that's all. My whole personality is not based around the clothes I wear, that's extremely vain. If anyone really cares about a band shirt to that extent, that's their problem.
