It's an underwater crematory, you throw dead body in ocean and it sucks it up and cooks it and spits ashes out

Unironically they are back in 2014 i think. Friend was ordered to used this garbage to spy in chinks, can't remember it correctly but he was told to be down their for a number of days and the man got dragged away by currents and appeared surfacing in japan.

Could it be a spotter for strikes on ships like the Moskva? Think I saw someone mention it in /chug/ before but no one believed him. Schizos win again.

Spotter naval drone sounds right considering the small size and being armed with nothing but a big fucking camera. Looks cool.

Looks friendly. Take him home and feed it. It would make a wonderful pet.

It's obviously not a submersible, but it's definitely designed to run low in the water with very a low profile.

      Decent camera suite as well.

Any more pictures? I'm wondering how accessible that internal area is as it could be more than a surveillance craft and actually used to transport something, there's no other reason I can think of for it's odd design.

The markings are not in Vodka Runes, so I assume it's likely from Australia.

its so that the drone can see and navigate under water so it does not hit a rock or something

why would it have the very unhydrodynamic stakes that are perpendicular to the flow of water on its topside then?

because they rotate and helps with forward propulsion

because pressure resistance and cavity space takes priority over gogogo

Seems some civilian oceanographic research gadget. It gets carried by ocean currents and tracks climate change. Nothing interesting, can be safely ignored.
Just a reminder, please no smoking near military installations, ammunition storages, airports or harbours.

Could be a drone they use for target practice. But most of them have some orange parts on them to mark them as a test equipment. If the Sensors in front are sonar's ,it's for looking for subs, but I doubt it
