My dreams mostly stopped when I entered my 30s. People kept telling me your 30s are when your body starts going to shit, but I didn't expect my brain to be the first victim.

They don't stop. Write in your phone tomorrow morning "I did not remember my dream today".
Writet this every morning after waking up, and eventually you will remember your dreams.
Write whatever you remember from the dream.
Soon you will remember them in vivid detail.
      Take magnesium before bed also.

        [...]
not your phone. keep paper and pen next to your bed so you can write as fast and as soon as possible. write everything down you remember, even if it's only "blue". Eventually you'll remember more.

        Interesting, I'll try that.

Mine are just weird and nonsensical most of the time, plus they involve switching between first and third person perspective quite often. For the past year I've also been having increasing nightmares and sleep paralysis/false awakenings which was never really an issue before

The night before I dreamt that I snuck into a classroom only to find that everyone was asleep at their desks. It turns out they weren't asleep, or at least not all of them were- a plant-monster had taken over the body of the teacher, and the students were pretending to be unconscious so as to not draw its attention. I accidentally made a noise, though, and it came over and inspected me. But I couldn't keep my face slack, and it grinned at me, grabbing my hair and producing an amount of jelly that looked like dragon-fruit meat. This was a poison, but I told the plant-monster that I wanted to show it something, and if I ate it first, I wouldn't be able to.

Last night I was in school, or on a school trip, and I wanted to make cereal, but all the dishes were dirty, so I went to wash some, but while I was this 8 year old girl comes over and starts harassing me. She wants to use my sink for something, I don't remember, but I'm yelling at her that I'm washing my dishes and I'll be done in a minute and she should wait, and I'm tired so I'm being a little belligerent, and she's on her knees on the counter shoving at me and yanking on my arms and yelling and I'm trying to elbow her out of the way while I'm trying to wash my stupid bowl. I'm about to throw fucking hands with an 8 year old. I think I said something like that, even. "Do you think I'm afraid to punch a little girl? Because I'm not!" or something like that. People around me were giving me dirty looks, too, but come on.

I dream almost every day and note dreams down. It's a process of self development and exploration to me.
I used to do the whole Freudian and Jungian thing with the dreams, at some points with a therapist who was Freudian. Then I moved away from both of those and never looked back since.

I'm amazing at interpreting dreams. It might be the only thing I'm good at. Dream books and symbolism lists are all scams, since dreams are intensely personal.

Sure, and since they are personal, they are open only to personal interpretation. Only the dreamer can interpret it correctly. Maybe some sort of a seer could do that for other people, but I doubt many such people live in our age.

depends. most dreams are pretty straight-forward, especially if you know the immediate context of a person's life. there are just no pre-established rules that you can reference, unless they are very generalized.

They maybe straightfoward for the dreamer, but not so much for the outsider. The analysis from outside would amount to guesswork since the outsider brings in his frame of reference.

I've been writing down my dreams on and off since 2009

this is the first one on my computer:

    25.3.2009
Two kids were born, some kinda demonic experiment. They are evil and killed their male nanny with a brick. Then they ran off into this nevada looking empty town and found this auto repair shop (looked more like a junkward) where the dude had just left to go grocery shopping or whatever. They look off into the desert thing and find one of those protible offices. On top of the office are 3 people. All like them, tho they don’t know it. They find a broken in half plauge with Sig. Gen. Inscribed on it. The leader of the 3 askes if one of them is called Sig Gen. the boy answers. He tells them of a mad scientist, a doctor, who preformed sick experiments and was planning on catching them for such. The girl runs off to do something while the rest go inside.

There;s this supermarket and in it a glass case. It is partially open and there is a wooden cart thing a guy touches it and leans back then suddenly yells to his friends, hey, it moved. They tell him to stop doddling and come on and so he does, “but ever since then, you can see the wagon, no mater where you are in the store, it’s there!”

Here's a dream I had, ripped straight from my notes:
Somehow this all started in a hallway. I was trying to get into a room, but it was locked. I try lock picking it, but was unsuccessful, until gustavo fring came and opened it up for me. I said, "hey Gus," and he said, "hello Mr Gavin," and unlocked it for me. I went through, into another hallway, and ended in a room with Samuel, Allie (who was wearing my pajamas), and some others I can't recall. We decided to go see a movie, and then we headed out to see one. I texted for Kevin to come along, so he did, instantly materializing beside us. As we were walking there, we saw another person in my pajamas and we laughed. The theater was packed, but as soon as I stepped inside I was checked up and down for contraband, everything in between. They eventually found my small wooden swiss army knife, and the cashiers had a long conversation with me about the type of knife and ended up comparing it to a schematic from Gerber (knife company), so they let me keep it. Some guy next to me, angry with me for being in front of him in line, started talking smack with me, to which we started arguing, which devolved into a fight. I ended up wrestling him to the ground. I got up and walked to my table, where the other people were, which were a group of eastern european men, some Polish, some Czech, and some others from regions I couldn't name, where I sat down and started chatting. One guy wasn't eating anything, looking forlorn, and I had no food, so I sat with him and talked for a while. That lifted his spirits, so he gave me some of his food as compensation. Him and I then went on a road trip, where I fell asleep in the car, but I woke up at his farm in Scandinavia, which was huge, and beautiful. I helped him with farm work, but he only had one tool of everything, so I mostly just made jokes with him and relaxed. He had a long hill of miscellaneous trees, native to the area, which had delicious fruit. We eventually made it back to his house, where he turned into Drew, an old coworker, and the house was a mix between an old cottage and a ranger station. They had the TV on, debating if looney toons copied tom and jerry or vice versa. Drews wife was making dinner, and he talked to me about taking down the tent canvas and replacing it with a new one, as he had extra. The TV then switched to another program, which was a company retreat thingy, where people were doing these mission impossible style things (in their head) but they were (in real life) just being yelled at in a motivated way to convince them what was going on. One guy in the commercial said, "Damn, you guys are pretty good at this." This was the end of this dream.

Earlier in the night, I had another dream where the my coworkers wanted to have a beach trip, and as we were planning it Jill and I, who decided on driving, had our cars together. I forgot to pack any clothes, so I drove my car into a pit of water, where I left it there as we left. We then appeared in my high school, where I saw Brian and a ton of other people I knew. We all chatted, shooting the breeze and such, until we all dispersed. I then saw, on a TV, that a volvo stationwagon was found at the bottom of the Susquehanna this morning, with no leads to who may own it. I asked the people who found it about it, and they said it was water logged, to which I pulled out my key and tried starting it, which it worked, but I didnt drive it for the fear of it exploding on me was too much. The stickers on the back of the car, however, were different from mine, so this was a different car than mine. This ended the dream.

Last one that I clearly remember: I was sitting in a restaurant with two other men (I think they were people I knew in college), there was nothing left on the table and it was time to pay. I started looking for my wallet but in my inner pocket I found a check holder that contained a bunch of old checks, a hundred dollar bill and several one dollar bills. The other two thought I stole it from somewhere and were threatening me. I ran out and got away by going into a few small side streets. After a bit I came across some sort of storm drain or canal that was surrounded by piles of white stuff that looked like boiled rice. Several people were standing around and throwing the white stuff into the canal. I looked down into it and it was filled with muddy water in which many white creatures were swimming and bumping into each other. They were round, the size of about a football and looked something like blowfish or stress balls but with longer tentacles all over instead of spikes, and small blue eyes and mouths. They were moving sluggishly and eating whatever the people were feeding them. I felt compelled to feed them as well so I grabbed a handful of what looked like rice but it turned out to actually be small white flowers, like from an apple tree. I tossed a few handfuls to the creatures but but they suddenly started disappearing, along with the people. I found myself alone in the empty street by the empty canal and the sky started growing dark fast. At that point I woke up. This was followed by several other episodes the same night of which I only remember one other that was less interesting but also involving fish of some sort

    Okay.
A family of three; mother, brother and sister, live in a rustic house by the traintracks. In the afternoon, Victorian locomotives pass by and blow their steam though the hedges into the garden.
One day the daughter dies - her will and testament stipulates that her body must be baked into a mask. Family, relatives and friends gather in the house and the sister's corpse is put on display in the kitchen. They bring a large iron mold consisting of two hollowed out hemispheres bound by hinges. The sister built the mold herself during her school years. The cook begins carving the sister's body and puts her flesh in the mold, which is heated over a fire. Eventually, the mold is full and the cook bakes.
When the mold is opened and the mask revealed, it's the size of a man's torso, displaying a Troll's face with a stubbly beard, grimacing. The mask is firm yet elastic, like silicone. The cook has burned the palms of his hands.

I don't usually have nightmares and it sounds silly when written out, but after waking up from this I needed a minute to gather myself, it was quite unsettling.

Whenever I have a dream it's always about girls and being romantically involved. The funny thing is that these dreams are never sexual but instead revolve around things like giving gifts and going on dates. I've never had a GF, but I knew several girls when I was in school who liked me. Botched every opportunity due to a lack of confidence or spouting /misc/ rhetoric.

What does this mean, anons? I'm 21 and outside of my dreams I have no real desire to worry about females and their nonsense. Right now I'm trying to build my reputation so that I can become king of a country before I'm 30.
