If you want to make a million, you need to figure out how to make someone else 10-100 million, and that's if you're lucky. Even if the organization starts flat, in human systems hierarchies will always form eventually, and the people at the top will rightfully benefit the most from the products of their organization. That's what happens when workers manage themselves. It's a natural and automatic process and there's no way to get around it. Improvements can be made in ensuring that merit plays more of a role in ascending the hierarchy, since reality isn't perfect and often people get into positions they don't deserve to be, but the basic structure will never change.
