Does life or reality have any inherent meaning if Christianity is false?

Does life or reality have any inherent meaning if Christianity is false? If Christ truly died for nothing and never came back from the dead, then what would be the point of even living? I don't think I could convince myself of that because if I did I would have to concede that life is ultimately worthless and has no purpose but death

Without God we have no way of knowing if meaning exists

Logos existed before Yahweh. He has no bearing on the concept.

Christianity is at its core a cult. It breaks down the ego, will and confidence of the initiate (if it's not already broken, which is often the case) and then rebuilds it using Jesus as an incorruptible, external basis. Problem is when faith in Christianity disintegrates the member becomes a husk, like you OP.
    >is there even a point to anything?
    >i guess not
    >all that's left to do is lay down and die
A healthy animal doesn't think like this. It keeps living for as long as its body functions, and it fights to stay functional. The type of creature that thinks like a Christian are ants, bees and other hivemind orgranisms.

I have people I love, things I want to do, people I want to be with, music to make, music to enjoy, money to make, food to enjoy, things and property to buy, vacations to take, animals to see and pet, women to sleep with, jokes to laugh at and a family to grow.

I don’t identify with you OP. I’m inherently motivated to live and act and experience.
The only time I felt like you was when I was severely clinically depressed which I fixed with therapy, learning psychological techniques for framing thoughts, exercise and gradual good habit forming.

Yeah the inherent meaning in my life stems from my brain functioning properly and giving my conscious experiencing self, positive emotions which motivate me to continue to live.
Emotions motivate you to act and keep life moving forward.

what makes the brain the source of inherent meaning?
why is conscious experience a factor in inherent meaning?
how do you know consciousness even exists?
what makes "life moving forward" a factor in inherent meaning?

Meaning = what is this thing meant to do.
Just by observing our natural world we can find meaning in organisms doing what they're meant to do. Animals have sex organs and can procreate, so clearly we're meant to have sex. There you go, there's meaning.

Why does meaning need to be inherent?

            >what makes the brain the source of inherent meaning?
That’s just part of its normal healthy function. I’m not sure why you’re hung up on inherent meaning. If you think meaning is supposed to come from space or something and doesn’t come from emotions and thoughts then I think you’re misguided.
The universe doesn’t care about you, only people and maybe your pets do.

Why does Christ resurrecting need to happen to give life meaning? Why do you need to know the meaning of life? Does an ant know why it’s digging in the sand if it is good for the hive?

God exists, but the Bible is just pilfered concepts we all know innately, and used for worldly agendas. Just because men made up fables doesn't mean God doesn't exist. He's just not israeli, and didn't give us a cheatsheet we have to have faith in anonymous men over.

To me the meaning of life is the pursuit of happiness without taking the hapiness from others and helping others to have happiness. Happiness would be the basic biological, psychological, social etc needs.

    I think it's to :
    Learn.
    Pass it on.

Though my partner thinks it's to :
"Enjoy life, and have a good time"

    I believe neither.
