Yes. Our purpose is to achieve perfection in Heaven through Christ. It is the only way we can overcome our degeneracy.

Because he is such a bad creator, he couldn't have just created heaven in the first place and skipped evil and degeneracy all together?
What makes you think it is achievable given it was already screwed up so badly in the first place since if he was capable of creating perfection, he would have just created perfection at the perfect moment, the first moment.

        >Because he is such a bad creator, he couldn't have just created heaven in the first place and skipped evil and degeneracy all together?
Our experience in heaven would not be nearly as rewarding if we did not have the wisdom of the world, filled with sin. None of this is for his own sake.
        >What makes you think it is achievable given it was already screwed up so badly in the first place since if he was capable of creating perfection, he would have just created perfection at the perfect moment, the first moment.
You are operating off a foundation of faulty logic. His omnipotence and sovereignty is absolute.

So the only think rewarding about god's creation is evil?

          >His omnipotence and sovereignty is absolute.
Also his ability to make mistakes and try to fix them with more mistakes when he couldn't even get man right and had to pivot to humanity in such a was to as create a lustful half made entirely of a penis bone who was physically powerless to resist the temptation of a phallic symbol and manifested more evil as a result.

            >So the only think rewarding about god's creation is evil?
What? This statement is incomprehensible. And besides, you cannot have evil without God. It is impossible, absolutely impossible.

There is nothing inherently wrong with sex, it is what God willed. What is sinful is to lust while you are unmarried or to lust after what is perverse. Or to commit perverse/evil acts. And mankind is not powerless to resist these things.

You are clearly a bot if you can't see there is an obvious typo and make sense of that sentence.

            >you cannot have evil without God
Exactly God is evil and you are evil for worshiping or having nice things to say about something so evil.

            >There is nothing inherently wrong with sex,
There is something inherently wrong with being unable to control your flesh due to being crafted entirely from a penis bone since there was a big mistake the first attempt at making man instead of humanity, but splitting humanity into two just created evil and made things worse.

            >And mankind is not powerless to resist these things
Woman is which is why god didn't name Eve until after she manifested evil with her complete inability to ignore manipulative phallic symbols.

Just another fedora tipper vent thread, I knew it.

The Bible provides clear and repeated guidance on the purpose of creation. The purpose of creation is to reflect and exhibit the glory of God.

Yeah, but you're expecting these trolls to have ever read the Bible, they haven't.

As if you will even acknowledge that god admits it has people trapped in the matrix just to be slaves like any other beasts of burden.

blah blah blah blah, nothing I say will stop you from crying like a fedora so why do you make these threads?

Yea because nothing you say about your dumb idea of a creator will be true, I didn't make the thread, why did you make it if you are just going to whine about the critical things logical people introduce?

moronic theists thinks everyone else is the same person
You are literally doing that, you spend all day crying about how your idea of god clearly came from a series of ruses because you have no hobbies, skills, or real thoughts or ideas of your own.

No the bible is clear that the only point of God's creation is to build up to a giant war that purges 99% of creation from creation since it was done so poorly.

What an absolutely dogshit pointless purpose lmao. I can't believe Christians have the audacity to insult existentialism when this is the best they can muster

Perhaps but not necessarily in the colloquial sense in which life might be described as having some sort of moral end. Rather more specifically creation does imply that there are distinct 'things,' which must by definition have inherent properties and functions, or inherent natures, i.e. forms. If you do not believe this is the case, try to describe a class of 'thing's whether material or conceptual which contains no properties whatsoever.

no, creation implies waste - a gap. creation opens up the void between what you wanted to make and what you ended up making. it isn't such a positive act, embrace uselessness
