Does anyone else feel like there are two types of trans people?

Does anyone else feel like there are two types of trans people? One being people that legitimately feel they are the opposite sex. And others that want to be 'trans' more than they want to be the opposite sex?

It feels like there are a lot of people that are becoming "trans" to gain access to a new status in life. If you were an ignored loner, now you have an instant support group online and lgbtq "friends". Things you couldn't get if you stayed the gender you were.

And before you mention suicide stats and "no one wants to be trans because of the bigotry". My complaint is that there are people who aren't and never will be suicidal nor affected by hateful bigotry because they see it as means to get even more sympathy and support from others.

Those same people want to destroy gender stereotypes and are also less likely to get surgery. The most they will do is put on a dress and a little makeup in order to post pics online and reinforce their trans status among peers.

Biologically they are saying that men can menstruate and women can have dicks. Socially they are saying men can like dolls and women can like monster trucks.

If there is no biological or social norms that define a sex and it is a free for all, what is even the point for those people that want to be the opposite sex, more than they want to be trans, to even transition?

Yes basically. Trans people believe gender to be real as otherwise they wouldn't transition and stuff like non passing wouldn't make them ill.

People that either don't change anything at all about their looks after they announce they are "trans" or those that do very little like starting to wear dresses while not caring about their 5 oclock shadow. Why even bother with the dress if you aren't going to try harder. If 5'oclock shadows are feminine, then wearing a dress may as well be masculine.

They are more interested in the politics of being trans than they are in becoming the opposite sex. Slapping trans flags over their blogs, clothes, cars, etc. Almost every post is about being trans (instead of male or female).

I just want to be reborn as a cute e-girl, since this is NSFFW I thought that was the case for most other people here. This entire board sounds like it's populated by trend chasing, attention seeking normalgays.

          >They are more interested in the politics of being trans than they are in becoming the opposite sex.
Sounds about right, it becoming an identity made this inevitable. This hylics probably would be becoming freakish macho types if that was trendy. These imbeciles are essentially some of the weakest minds on this planet, literally following every single stupid trend their leaders command them do. Literally begging for approval to the other moronic money grovelers and fascists with which they're associated. I don't normally post here I just came to find a troony to get off to, I'll probably go to r*ddit now since I can find a lot of much sexier 14 year old "femboys", many of which turn out to just be regular, biologically female hebes, which hilariously proves what you're saying. Even actual females want to be trannies.

The people who want to be trans more than becoming the opposite sex is somewhat invalidating those that actually want to be the opposite sex and want to express it through physical (ex: breast implants, long hair) or social (dresses, makeup, etc).

When people say something can be defined as anything, then it is actually nothing at all. Transitioning from male to female now has no meaning beyond subtle things like restroom use and superficial titles. Going from Mister to Miss is pointless if there aren't at least some characteristics to set them apart. Will using the women's restroom make you feel more like a woman when all the women also using it have characteristics that don't define being a woman anymore (makeup, boobs).

Even worse many places are moving to unisex everything, further blurring to reason to transition other than getting the trans title.
On top of that most places are moving to unisex restrooms and unisex everything.

transgenders VS transexuals. i can understand the dislike of these ppl but i think a lot of them are just not dysphoric so they form different views on gender than transexuals. in reality they just dont think or care very much about sex. and i dont think its to gain friends there will always be other places to do that that will not make you experience biggotry. like seriously is it worth it to get excommunicated from your family and constantly ridiculed just to gain some new friends? thats kind of ridiculous to me

In my OP pic, that would be someone who wanted to be a woman. Now several hyper-political trans people and their well-meaning allies want to make it so that the image on the left is also viewed just as much as a woman as the image in the right. Negating the reason to even transition your looks or even change the clothes you wear or hobbies you partake in.

Yes if you're mtf you don't really believe you're a woman you shouldn't be trans

i (lonely hsts) decided to try and go on a date with a t4t agp and i started saying a lot of this stuff and she literally left. they dont want to hear it. nothing is realistic to these ppl. theyre not at all invested in the idea of what a woman should be. its actually borderline infuriating we have to share a community, bc the differences between these two groups is astounding.

Just like people demanding ze/zem/xir/etc pronouns. Since he/she no longer has any meaning (since a "he" can menstruate and get pregnant) there is no reason for special pronouns. It is just requested to feel special and to feel a sense of power over other people's speech.

I didn't choose my pronouns but I accept them as much as I accept the fur on my head being called "hair". It sucks that the stuff on my head was given the term "hair" without my permission long before I was born but I accept it and won't try to get people to call it "haore" to make me feel unique.

The unforgovable crime our ancient ancestors did was choose a term for a baby born with a penis and a baby born with a vegana. How is that a crime? Just because you are called a "she" for having a vegana doesn't mean you need to play with dolls, be a housewife, or love a man. Accept that you were born a he or she and define yourself as an individual. Be a lesbian or a woman with an artificial penis grafted on. Do whatever you want.

Just like we are told people are born gay and should accept it and not try to change it, the same could be said for our sex. Accept the hand fate dealt you, but live your life as a man who likes makeup or a woman who likes beer pong and wearing men's clothes.

Fight to change what society thinks men and women can/should do, not what they actually are.

Then get a pussy grafted onto your male body. Don't destroy all definitions and truths in society just to live out your dream.

Being born a male doesn't mean you aren't allowed to get breast implants or a vegana. Do what you want with your body but don't crusade to erase what a male/female is. Break the mold of what a male/female can do.
