/lgbt/ has a lot it harshness but it has a lot of kindness too which means a lot more when you don't have to act in any particular way. it's certainly not for everyone, but it's a more sincere place than literally any other trans space i can think of in existence, whether they like it or not. the key is just not internalizing absolutely everything and learning when perspective is valuable enough to displace what you already know.
what a pathetic post. i'm not transphobic writ large, but the trannies i have met are generally broken people with an external locus of control. regardless of demographic, i am not going to innately respect these people. transitioning is supposed to be empowering and make you a more complete person, but that's hardly ever the case in my experience.
if that makes me "internally transphobic" it is only because i have higher expectations for the community i am reluctantly grouped in with by the general public. the 41% is regrettable, but for those that stick it out into the future, i am very hopeful for what we might accomplish as a collective. the rest would've killed themselves regardless.
is this the penguin i think of? the one who was self hating to the point every aspect of her life was a cope until some anons helped her see the truth?
Not reading that, I have externalized transphobia
Of course I do. If you dont have at least some internalized transphobia you risk becoming a tucute /r/traa tenderqueer moron.
I only hate transpeople on the internet. In real life I have yet to meet one (1) and I will treat them with the same level of respect they treat me.
>do you have internalized transphobia?
A lot
it's getting better, slowly

Oh plenty, I hate like at least 50% of other troonys.
Too many annoying, commie trans women with no self awareness.
Too many GameStop and star wars trans. The acceptable thing to do is cry and hate yourself if someone misgenders you, not go full hulk mode on them.
Too many weird gross people with beards calling themselves trans fems or trans lesbians.
Too many annoying spicy cis women going by they or he but changing literally nothing about themselves except maybe binding once a month or something.
