Do you even know how precise Islam is in everything?

A Muslim's entire life is governed by preciseness and having awareness about God that you could not even fathom as a secularist. A Muslim for example can never invoke Allah's name in the toilet or bathroom or any place he may be naked or with private parts out. Sometimes a Muslim may invoke Allah's name silently or by mistake while he is on the toilet or showering and this must be repented for. Likewise a Muslim must clean thoroughly before prayer; simply throwing some water on your feet and hands won't do, each toe and each finger has to be washed correctly, behind ears, etc. Just wiping or throwing water in a flippant way is not acceptable and prayer will not be accepted. Any farting, leaking of urine, discharge from penis makes the cleansing invalid and it must be performed again. Prayers must be conducted not a minute early or a minute late that's why you often see Muslims constantly checking their watch every couple of minutes to not miss the correct time allocation. Prayers must be focused on completely with zero distraction otherwise it will not be accepted. Any rushed or insincere prayer is thrown out by Allah and rejected.

A Qu'ran can not be handled without first performing the ritual cleaning. You can not just put a dirty hand on a Qu'ran you have to clean first thoroughly.

The absolute preciseness and thoroughness of Islam is something that the secularist doesn't even know about but finds strange.

Are you LARPing because 90% of what you just said is inaccurate. You're going by a cartoonish stereotypes as opposed to actual doctrine.

How is it stereotypes when there are literal qualified respected scholars who have become YouTubers like Assim Al-Hakeem making a living off of telling Muslims about the finer details in religion via doctrine?

So you're following 20th-century revisionism dogma?

        >Likewise a Muslim must clean thoroughly before prayer; simply throwing some water on your feet and hands won't do, each toe and each finger has to be washed correctly, behind ears, etc. Just wiping or throwing water in a flippant way is not acceptable and prayer will not be accepted.
How do people where water is scarce perform Salah? You ever heard of nomadic people, or ever heard of people suffering from droughts?
You don't need water to perform ablution. It can be done using sand, mud or symbolically with stone as well.

        >Prayers must be conducted not a minute early or a minute late that's why you often see Muslims constantly checking their watch every couple of minutes to not miss the correct time allocation.
Salah has allocated time spans. They aren't conducted in terms of minutes on the dot.
Furthermore, do you think people carried wristwatches or looked at mechanical clocks in the past?? Most had to tell the time by using the sun, which is massively imprecise.

Does it matter if the practice is a modern novelty if it's something muslims really do?

Doesn't matter what they did in the past, we are discussing Muslims alive now and practicing Islam now and the scholars are unanimous that the one who prays late while knowing he is late will not have his prayer accepted and that the one who prays early even if it's 2 or 3 mins before the adhan will not have his prayer accepted. If a person made a genuine mistake with timing or forgot to wake up for his fajir that is different but the one who deliberately doesn't wake up for his fajr or deliberately prays late or early he is reprimanded for that and must repent there's no doubt about it at all.

I don't give a frick about your revisionist dogma. You can keep changing Islam every decade or every time your leaders tell you to. I practice classical Sunni Islam.

Mans really said "minutes". You can't even DEFINE what a minute is Islamically. There's a reason why Salah times are based around the sun, and holidays are based around the sighting of the moon. You have no clue what you even believe in.

And lmao at pointing to IslamQA.

Come on bro, he's still our religious brother, let's not be harsh. What he tries to say with timing is that you can't pray zuhr before its time or after its time is out.

Does it matter if the practice is a modern novelty if it's something muslims really do?

there's no novelty in religion, all postulates are exactly the same.

            Yes Mexico

            >It is estimated over 80% of the population identifies as Catholic. Many Mexicans see Catholicism as part of their identity, passed on through the family and nation like cultural heritage.

When over 80% of a country identifies as Muslim the country is regarded as a Muslim country. Of course Mexico is Christian. It's like saying Algeria or Somalia isn't a Muslim country.

I'm a convert to Islam and one of the reasons I was actually attracted to the religion were these specific rulings and detailed laws. For me the absoluteness of the religion is a large part of what convinced me it was true because why wouldn't our creator send us down a structured, detailed method of living while we are on earth via his prophets and his messengers? That just makes total sense to me if you believe in a creator for this world. Leaving us all to live confused and not knowing right from wrong and not knowing how to pray etc is just nonsensical to me. I've never understood the attitude of picking and choosing what to follow. If something is true we have to follow everything it ordains or at least try to do our best.

That said, a large proportion of Muslims obviously do not practice all these details. I know Muslims who have clearly broken wudu but still prayed anyway with us in a group. I supposed they reasoned that they didn''t notice or were not aware they had broken it (which is acceptable Islamically), I fall short myself sometimes I forget to say "Bismillah" before eating as one example. We are humans and we make mistakes but having a religion that caters to every specific is *more* proof that the religion is true at least to me.

yes, I know. my ex-gf went muslim because she hoped she'd marry some arab with money, and since we remained on good terms, she shared the "how to muslim" bibliography. my verdict: islam == severe artificially induced OCD. second place: orthodox judaism. third place: pre-V2 catholicism. the prescribed shit you have to utter when entering a WC or waking up in the night to turn to your other side, maaaan ...

I don’t tend to talk when on the toilet, much less about God. What kind of autism or Tourette’s would mike someone accidentally whisper Allah?

    >A Muslim's entire life is governed by preciseness and having awareness about God
This is not accurate at all. Jinnah was a true Muslim, and a movie about him was made depicting everything he did to create Pakistan for Muslims. His own family approved the movie, and what did the Pakistan do? They withdraw the funding for the movie. Why? Because true Islam is not followed by Muslims over there.

They are "Muslims" over there, not Muslims. This happens with Christians as well. This board is full of "Christians". They don't follow Christ's teachings, but they like to LARP as Christians.

This scene must have pissed a lot of "Muslims", showing a true Muslim talking about Islamic values with a "Muslim":
