For being good looking, cute, /fashion/, etc.

      You look fine imo.

I hope the transplant brings you what you need!

      Thank you, Anon.

I wish you the best but there’s no hope for Norwood 7s unless you are a 0.1 percentile hyper responder to fin, min and dut, and also have a massively thick donor zone.
On the bright side, you aren’t ugly at all and could probably look pretty good as a bald man. Unironically get jacked and smile more, that facial expression isn’t doing you any favors.

tranny here. you have a good enough face to pull off being bald. i wouldn’t do the surgery.

All men should be required to shave their

Thank you, Anons. Thankfully I have a round head that pulls off bald decently well. I just hopped on finasteride a few weeks ago. Im afraid to touch minoxidil because I heard it can cause premature facial aging and wrinkles. My donor zone is pretty good. The surgeon who offered to do my case said I could get complete coverage with 10,000-12,000 grafts, which will include some neckbeard hair. Pic related is an example of his work. He is regarded as a God in the hair transplant community. It’s gonna cost me $50,000, but thankfully I’m well off and can afford it.

bruh that’s insane and gonnna not look good also you have to do like 3+ separate surgeries with that many grafts
you have good skull just shave, if you care you can get SMP to give illusion of full hair

if you want hair that bad do fin + oral min + microneedling and pray you’re a hyper responder before giga transplant

        or get hair system

Thanks, Anon. Yeah, the surgeon said it would need 2-3 seasions. Maybe I’ll try the minoxidil and pray. I have a microneedler too but havent started it yet. I read 1.5 mm depth is the sweet spot for hair regrowth.

But yeah, maybe ill just say heck it and shave in the end. Idk. I just feel robbed of my youth to a degree, and it hurts me.

if you only hopped on fin a few weeks ago, you shouldn’t rush into the surgery. give it a while and see what you can recover with just fin, and how your body reacts to it long term. the fact that they agreed to do the procedure on someone who hasn’t been on fin long term is a red flag already.

I agree with all these guys

tranny here. you have a good enough face to pull off being bald. i wouldn’t do the surgery.

OP you look very handsome and look good bald/shaved. Don’t even bother with the transplant. Handsome ass nigga

The baldness suits you bro. Especially with the facial hair in that pic. Don’t trick yourself into thinking you won’t be happy/have "youth" just cause you’re bald/going bald?
You are a handsome ass nigga. If its confidence you lack just buy some dumbbells + a barbell and get /fit/. Its not that hard if you’re dedicated.

Just think about whether its gonna satisfy whatever problem you really have with yourself before you throw so much money/time/effort at fighting what is in 99% of cases, a losing battle.

u are a handsome ass nigga. act like one

Don’t waste your money on a hair transplant. You look good bald and honestly you have no hair to do it with.

You got an head form where it looks actually plausible that you shaved it off on purpose (and not because hair loss forced you). Transplant would be stupid

Thanks for the confidence boost, my friends. I’ll plan on rocking the Mr. Clean look. I think the internet has warped my sense of what’s considered normal male appearance. I need to start moving differently, as they say.

Good one. Dr. Pittella has a luscious head of hair. He is one of only a handful of surgeons who take on Norwood 7 cases. Dr. Zarev in Bulgaria is probably the world’s best, but his waitlist is unreal. It takes 3 years just to get in for the initial consult. Pittella is a close second imo.

I might as well make this the general HT question thread

Should I bother blowing 20% of my annual salary on a flight and hair transplant or am I doomed to be a 3 anyway

Get on Finasteride immediately to preserve what you have. Make sure to check hair restoration network forums before committing to any transplant surgeon. Make sure he is a good one that is approved by the community.

fair enough. There is a whole school of thought that argues u dont need fin if youre already norwood 7. But yah u are right in that there are different types even within norwood 7. Like a 70 year old man who has been Norwood 7 since his 20s may have a scalp that is smooth like your palm. Whereas I actually have little miniaturized hair everywhere, even though theyre so thin that it looks fully bald. So in my case, there is remote possibility of super responder regrowth, whereas the 70 year old man is too far gone. But ya, thats the plan — see how much regrowth i can get and then decide on the transplant. I am only taking half a milligram per day so far to test the waters. Had less boners in the beginning, but now my morning woods have returned full force, so Im thinking of increasing the dose to the full 1 mg daily that im prescribed.

the OP pic makes it a bit difficult to tell but are you actually a full on, no exaggerations NW7? not just a 4/5 that shaved it off? any clear pic of your scalp/crown area or the sides?
you look perhaps about late 20s-ish to me, so to have hair loss that severe, unless you just have super cursed genetics (no judgment here in a hair loss thread we are all cursed, just some more than others), there could be another underlying condition; and i’m almost never the one to say that "it might not be MPB it could be vitamin deficiency, or thyroid or stress" etc. but i think it might be worth looking into, if you haven’t yet. for what it’s worth i think, again at least from the OP pic, that the shaved look suits you.

I was a very aggressive balder unfortunately. I noticed frontal hair loss in high school. I think heavy weight lifting and supplementing with creatine monohydrate (which increase DHT) further accelerated it. My thyroid was normal when last checked, but yeah, maybe vitamins are worth checking, idk. I think I just have bad MPB honestly. My maternal grandfather was bald as heck. Pic is me. If you look closely you can see miniaturized hairs everywhere. I am hoping they are not too far gone.

Go on medications for a year and then assess. If you don’t have crazy results, don’t bother with the hair transplant. I very much doubt that it’s going to be worth it. 50k is a lot for someone that’s already completely bald.
If hair cloning becomes available in the future, you’ll be thankful you saved that money because it’s going to be expensive as heck.
Dr Tsuji is still working on it iirc.
