Do people unironically thought Revenge of the Sith was good?

It was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, they hadn't come very far in medicine yet. They still believed in astrology and fortune telling.

Yes, it is possible to die from losing the will to live.

This fucking gutted me hearing that, man. I don't want to imagine hurting that badly in that way. Sounds horrible. Really feel for the guy. Not that he cares.

Yeah, and that one clinton aide felt so bad about fucking up he killed himself by shooting himself in the back of the head twice.

Just a case of a broken heart, like that one guy who felt so bad about spilling dirt on the clintons he hung himself in a tree and then shot himself in the chest with a shotgun.

      >loses all the will to live immediately after giving birth to two perfectly healthy children
Man, Padme would have been an awful mom, Luke and Leia actually got lucky.

Yes. Broken Heart Syndrome is a real thing.

Add the trauma of child birth and it's an acceptable, though highly unlikely, means of her death.

It would have made more sense if Padme was mortally wounded by Vader to max out his dark side points. But no..fuck you Lucas

I do think she should have gone into hiding and lived for like 6-7 more years with Leia, before passing away from something or other. But no one would be satisfied by that. For them it has to happen on screen in some dramatic, epic way during one of the big movies.

They need the disney+ series surrounding those years so they can cry about how Senator Flavius Zxilla is now a Chinese girl instead of a white woman like she was standing in the background of one of the prequel movies.

That was actually how Lucas envisioned it back in the 80s during ROTJ. I don't know exactly the reason why he changed it to what we got.

Easier, cheaper drama. Retcons are good friends.

how would that work with Leia being a princess then

The galaxy used to feel enormous. So that things like that could be overlooked because who is going to keep up with tens of thousands of planets affairs and populations? No one would be any wiser about a princess of Alderaan's mom if the royal family didn't make a fuss and she blended in. But now it's been downsized to like fifty planets and most stories on Tatooine, so most plots are unbelievable.

    >It seems, in your anger, you killed her.
Vader quite literally killed Padme to save himself, if unintentionally. He was reaching out to her and he siphoned her life essence using the dark side of the Force.

Why didn't he ask about what happened to the children?
Why didn't he ask how Palpatine knew she was dead?
They held a bigass funeral, surely he'd have seen that she didn't have a baby bump anymore.
Why wasn't he in the funeral?
Why was he angry at Palpatine for failing him.

He just ran along with it because the script said so
