I wanted it cuz I thought it'd be a cool thing to own. I like unconvential stuff, but I'm, starting to regret it.

      > Stomping
      Yes he angry.
From who did you even buy this?

I bought it from a private seller from eBay Kleinanzeigen, essentially German craigslist.

        Set up a camera.
If this keeps happening use the footage of this ghost to go viral and make lots of money on the phenomenon.

Place the grave somewhere nice in nature after you're done.

I was actually thinking about making a nice grave site for him. But first I planned to place the cross in another room, to check if it actually is him or if there is an actual explanation for the weird noises in that specific spot.

Pray to Mars and make a shrine to the war deities around it. it will cleanse the fallen mans spirit.

This. Leave the man to his rightful rest. be kind and place it in nature.

This, this dude is an idiot and (de)serves this spirit being angry with his (dis)respect of the dead!

Nothing happened this night. No sounds, nothing. Was digging through war archives, no mention of his name.

Found an organization though that specializes in tending to war time graves. Might hit em up.

I have nothing but respect for the dead and I have already told him I don't wish to offend him.

Your words are in the language of the dead and have no impact on the living world which you (re)side. You must put this marker in a peaceful energetic place in nature to help this man find a door out. Say a prayer when you do this act.

not op but is it possible to befriend a ghost my gf says probably not unless they were okay with it but i think you could if you were nice enough for long

they're not people, they can't learn or create anything new, their will cannot change and they suffer constantly, so why would you want that as a friend? you can bind them in various ways from free roaming to service bound and reshape them to manifest or restore them to something more whole by using mortal elements but that doesn't hit my definition of friend, you'd have a servant or slave who might be "grateful" for alleviating some of it's pain by sharing your light with it but it'd never surprise you or give you something new to think about. They're figments of a story past, the right thing to do is give them rest if you ask me.

i wouldnt want a ghost servant Im not the most knowledgeable w spirits most /x/ thing happened to me is the Ufo's i see on halloween or the ghost motorcycle. would Ghosts or spirits not be able to have new thoughts outside of the state they died?

by their nature they can't. you can use them as components to pierce the veil and gain insight into the person that birthed them but they are not mortal, thus cannot change, only adapt within the rules of their paradigm.

brother, I... they're not alive. they're not even undead, they're figments, painful memories manifest. Ask the pain from stubbing your toe what it wants and it'll tell you it wants to stop existing.
You want an otherworld buddy to vibe with get yourself a tulpa, befriend a gnome/korrigan, craft a homunculus, bind a succubus, attract an animal guide.

Leave out offerings for him. Nature spirits typically like bread and honey but since this is a human you might try other things to see what he likes. Silver coins are a safe bet as well.

I wouldn't worry about it OP. Get some sleep you're probably overworked and underloved.

Well duh, that cross was probably pilfered straight from the grave, but, you give "it" more power by being scared , just go along with your day and ignore it

are you nice to him? put on some old German music put his cross infront of a window or something to give him a view, im not an authority but if i was a ghost id want someone to be nice i always believed if you were pure of heart and had good intentions he'd be cool

you have a ghost, it's anchor, a name and a pointer towards the place of death. Don't be lazy.

What is an energetic place and how do I find one?

explore the world, keep your chin up and your body straight and your pelvis balanced. you'll feel it. You should do this regularly in general to get a better understanding of the surroundings of your resting place.
