This is the fate of everyone you think is cool when you’re a teen.

cringe is calculated via an exponential function of age.
it’s why you never see 50 year olds fanboying other 50 year olds.

I thought Norm Macdonald was cool as hell and he was still cool even as an adult.
          Miss you, Norm.

Los Angeles is cursed land or something. Every YouTuber that was once good and moved there, without fail, tanks within a year or two. It’s a giant colony of Logan Paul’s except they’re midwits so they they for some reason think they’re above him when they are in fact not.

        • Anonymous says:

"Cursed land" yeah that’s what you call it..
A certain "demonic influence" is widespread through Hollywood and has "cursed" the "land"

When a talentless and ugly person becomes an entertainment success it can only mean one thing. Le nez sournois…..

all these normie youtubers like moist, asmongold, etc took epstein money. the epstein pedo ring dumped insane amounts of money into promoting gaming, centrist, center left/right, and apolitical youtube channels through dollar shave club ads. that’s why a not profitable ball shaving company has the largest ad spend in history. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/nicolejunkermann/en

i saw an article about this recently and thought it was stupid but now i agree with it. why do stupid internet people destroy the definitions of subcultures and shit, or at least use the terms so incorrectly that all meaning has been divorced from the words themselves? nothing he is wearing is goth or cyberpunk. does he think the color black just makes something goth or cyberpunk. aren’t goth and cyberpunk two vastly different aesthetics, why would an outfit be both at the same time? ftge

I miss when this guy was funny and played videogames
when did he start changing his content? I just remember a decade ago he was making videogame videos and I took a look at his stuff last year and he’s just making cold takes on current affairs

      >I miss when this guy was funny and played videogames
      he still does that.
he streams vidya every day and uploads clips and reviews to his channels.

    • Anonymous says:

he streams videogames on twitch/youtube and everything looks like it bores him.
he fell into the "critically analyze your favorite hobby" trap that millenials all fell into and doesn’t enjoy it anymore apart from it furthering his career.

      i find him annoying
i cannot stand passive-aggressive assholes who are always at the centre of drama but constantly go on about how above it all they are how lame said drama is
he’s always trying to be the sardonic voice of reason or come up with scathing hot-takes whilst having neither the quick wit or courage to do it properly

    • Anonymous says:

it all went downhill after the face reveal
then he became a streamer, started getting into eceleb drama, and now that’s all he does

Serious question: What was ever the appeal of this guy in the first place?
Because imo it’s his flat affect/aggresively neutral voice. Is there anything else to it?

    • Anonymous says:

like every big e-celeb it’s pure momentum. he already has an audience and he is always streaming, so his audience doesn’t decay.

he is literally deadpan humor standup comedian. now that real standup comedians are also doing youtube it’s painfully obvious how youtubers were living life on easy mode for 10 years.

I never watched the guy, but i assume it’s that he sounded like a big fat loser and most of his viewers are also big fat losers, but then he got successful so now he is "lame". He was always lame, but he is not the miserable loser like you anymore…

      • Anonymous says:

Yeah a lot of the appeal was that he’s just some faceless and depressed monotone YouTuber playing games, but the latter half of what you said didn’t go down like that. It probably would have happened if he got famous and still kept to his gaming videos to be fair, but once he became successful he switched a lot of his content up into becoming an e-celeb gossip channel and leafyishere style reaction channel with some gaming on the side which in my opinion is objectively "lamer" than just being a loser with a gaming channel.

Not that Anon, but thank you for this post. It made me realize that for the past week I’ve been acting like a complete schizo worrying about every minor interaction and person I’ve come across, and thinking they’re either scared of me or staring at me with contempt, and I’ve been wondering what I’ve been doing wrong to make people look at me that way, and now that I’ve read your post it’s probably because I look worried or I’m worried so much that I’ve been imagining everything.
