You're not uploading your password. Bw gives you an encrypted container not even they have access to. That encrypted container is what's uploaded. The only risk is: 1. Losing access to it because their servers were hacked/set on fire and everyone's data is lost (bw allows export into csv/json). 2. Your email address gets leaked (imagine not using an alias). If hackers steal their data entirely, all they will have is a locked box they can't get into. Using KeepassXC is fine. But it's unnecessary, and not scalable at an enterprise level.

i delete them every time i close a web page and whitelist a very small amount of cookies.

I go one step further: I use Multi-account Containers and Temporary Containers, AND delete cookies on exit.
I have to create a container AND whitelist the cookies I want to stay from the domains I want to stay.
So EVEN IN THE CONTAINERS, cookies WILL get deleted if they're not whitelisted.
And I'm currently in the process of moving my browser profile into a portable format I can shove into VMs that I can spin up.
