      >1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

      This is a fake verse

"A Trinitarian gloss (marginal note) known as the Johannine Comma, added to Latin translations of the epistle in the 4th century,[26] was interpolated (added to the main text) within 1 John 5:7-8 over the course of the Middle Ages.[26]

      >John 1:1 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
      >John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:1 speaks of two different gods, one of which is the Word.

The Word is said to be WITH God while also being called ‘God’. There are two different entities in this verse.

I'm not a Christian, and I don't believe in the existence of such a god, but I have not seen a good argument against a god existing in such a manner that doesn't impose massive limitations onto god itself.
I really think it comes down to an intellectual deficiency on the part of people who cannot comprehend it. If you're given a conception of god that shows that he is capable of transcending the laws of number and trying to argue that it is "illogical" because it does not conform to the laws of number (which is what all the sperging out about ones and threes is). The only explanation is that these people are incapable of a certain level of abstract thinking. Whether or not you believe such a being exists is irrelevant, the ability to find defensible is the single most important quality among members of our species. Those people that believe it is totally nonsensical and indefensible on logical grounds are closer to the all other animals by being bellow men who think otherwise.

      >but I have not seen a good argument against a god existing in such a manner that doesn't impose massive limitations onto god itself.
Like what? Christianity does not put a single limit on God at all, which is why

      >if you live in a 2d plain you cannot comprehend a cube but you can still develop evidence to know its possible
      >if you live in a 3d plain you cannot comprehend/fulfill a tesseract, but we know its possible
Apply this to the trinity, God, and thats it. The trinity is entirely possible and is real. Why 3? Because God said so. Why would the greatest thing ever be limited to our laws? He wouldn't otherwise they would not be great. Faith is evidence, faith is truth. We do not believe for the sake of it, nor have the men and women of the last 2000 years. You make these threads as if there isn't a plethora of books, great minds who have thought the same thing and figured it out. You make this thread, every, single, day. Read an actual book. Or something. Anything.

this is possible. Im curious as to your examples, but I also know this thread is always full of bait and retards so we shall see

One is just the sperging out about ones and threes that I mentioned before. Anything that takes the form of "how can one be three?" Given what's being asserted by the trinity itself, even entertaining such an argument means that you just fundamentally do not understand what's going on, and it is a type of misunderstanding that indicates whoever finds it convincing is not capable of the abstract thought required to participate in philosophical and theological conversations. Anything they say is said for the purpose of preventing productive conversations from occurring. The only appropriate response is to tell them that they are a lesser form of life and that in a just world, they would be treated like livestock.
I suppose the worst argument I've ever heard is that such a conception of god insults the majesty of god. I think it was just cope because its absurd to assert that a god capable of more than his conception of it is somehow less majestic than the one he believes. It's clear to me that what really is an insult to the majesty of god is imposing limits on him. I know he would likely say that his conception of perfection itself insults the majesty of hi. I again think that such conclusions come from the inability to think abstractly. The vvery way in which this person conceives of god insults him, and it is not due to any malice, but. because he is intellectually incapable of true praise.
That being said I do not believe in a god at all, and I want to make that clear before someone accuses me of being a christian.
