I regularly found myself in the witch’s house in dreams but then around 11 or 12 I became aware of machine men in the attic. You could only see them through a peep hole, but if you were in the same room as them they were invisible.
The machine men have box-shaped bodies. Like snowmen but cubes instead of spheres. They have thin metal arms with scythe-like fingers.

Fairworld is nice. So many faces there. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve seen these people in my waking life; maybe took a mental snapshot of them, catalogued for later. But, I doubt it, because I don’t get out much. It’s usually Halloween there when I go.
As for Schoolworld and Mallworld, I only go there to clear out infestations it would seem. It’s been a hot minute since I was last dispatched. Not sure why.-
Never seen schoolworld or mallworld get infested, you sound like you’re larping but if not, most people have nostalgia memories of those places so they’d be pretty clean most of the time.

To be perfectly honest with you anon, I can’t give you a step by step, because even I don’t know How I do it. I just show up, wander around, eventually the problem finds me. I deal with it, then I wake up.
It all started when I was living in DC, 2011, working underground. Went strong for about 8 or 9 years, doing this thing almost every night, at least once a week, but lately I haven’t been able to recall any dreams.
Maybe I’m on vacation. Or maybe, I’m more like John Spartan, and the staff just doesn’t wanna deal with the cleanup.

What if you have been in the school enough times to be able to draw a map of the place? Pretty much every time I have a school dream, they are all connected and I have full memory of the last school dream no matter how many months have gone by since the last one.
I can perfectly recall the weird monument out in front of the school building. It’s five tall think standing stones that look like a weird hand it mostly buried in the dirt.

Also there was one time when I was there and all my friends and I were aware that we were in someone else’s dream. It was some girl I never really met before but we were kind of avoiding her and the people she was with to not disturb her. When she left we thought she woke up and we just walked out the doors since the dream was considered "over" and we all went back to whatever places we were supposed to have been from. A couple of my friends wandered off into the woods outside the parking lot while I wandered into some department store and I supposedly had a job of talking to the things on the shelves to make sure they were not negative or had negative thoughts attached to them.

When I was kind of into lucid dreaming I dreamed at least once that I went into a sort of cinema/arcade thing, and there was a game/ride where a bunch of lucid dreamers were like, hoverbvoarding through thing long, windy, multicolored tube with obstacles and items and grab bags and we were all just kind of racing/grabbing items and powerups, its was really cool, felt like a legit babby-tier ride but I was just starting out, and actually never got really into it so I never really went back.

My schoolworld changes constantly and I end up stuck in the hallway between classes not knowing where to go, all the other kids get to class and I’m stuck lost in the hallways alone. Mallworld goes from being normal to empty and dark. Typically it floods with water or I get stuck on the floor due to the escalators disappearing. Or it starts enclosing on itself or the floor starts caving in.

I hate this one. I’ve never had the one where you show up naked, but I always lose track of my courses and realize I’ve missed months of classes in one and frantically try to make up the work so I don’t fail.
This is an interesting one. The airport is always poorly lit and I have to walk through a large maze to get to a flight that takes off in just a few minutes. I make it and the plane has an impossibly wide body with only a few other passengers. The plane’s ascent is straight up, but when it is finally cruising, it’s barely touching the tops of the trees and crashes

I had one last week. It had a crazy aquarium and this really cool jungle gym type thing that i swung down to the lower level on. The rest of the dream was a little scary, some guy confused me for someone else and dosed me with some kind of hallucinogen. I had crazy dream hallucinations, couldn’t break out of them, then he sent me to China and when i finally broke out of the hallucinations i was in a shipping container, got out and i was barefoot in the snow in the loading dock area of some Chinese warehouse.

I had a constantly reoccurring dream (not every night, but often) where I would be in a bright green field but the sky was light-ish purple. Anyway, on that field there would always be a steam train closeby from wherever I woke up. When I stepped on, it would be the most old-fashioned, fancy carriage. Very visually appealing. I guess you could call it "steamtrain-core" or something, like a subset of regular "traincore".

You talk gay as hell, but I too have seen a partial(?) toilet world. Really its usually a decaying commercial style factory building with massive rooms of stalled toilets/ urinals/ and showers. Its kinda creepy but I kinda like it. I go piss in one of the many toilets, and it feels so freeing. Probably because there’s so many to choose from. Most of the time its almost pitch black or really dim though. So again, very strange.

Ive only ever dreamed about malls like twice. They were neat as a kid. However once you see all the empty dead shops, the luster fades. Ypu see how quickly e-commerce destroyed the mall business model.
To be honest, I don’t think even 80% of the population thinks about malls anymore. Let alone going to shop at one.

Not a mall, but there’s a Goodwill in my dreams I revisit every now and then in my dreams. It’s a normal Goodwill, but it’s in the middle of a dense woods.
No road leading up to it, no parking lot, not street lights, just a normal Goodwill smack-dab in the middle of the woods. -
It was beautiful and incredibly calming. It was mallworld without shops, and magnified to the scale of Mayan pyramids. Just cool blue tiles and vast staircases flanked by palms and ferns in planters, fountains gently trickling through channels, and cavernous interiors reaching into the distance. Saw a troop of battle droids that had gotten lost in there, too. I’d love to go back.

Like other anons have said, schoolworld changes for me. I don’t think I’m ever in the same school twice in dreams – it’s always a totally different layout, but it still looks like a large public school. Hell, sometimes students from different grades or different classes in the same grade in real life are in the same class as me (usually aged accordingly). Also, for some reason, we rarely ever do schoolwork in schoolworld. We’re always just hanging out in the cafeteria or in class or just walking around in the halls. Yet, it’s still mandatory to be there. I’ve had both lucid and unaware dreams in schoolworld. Schoolworld dreams are kinda common for me. I might consider schoolworld to be my second home at this point.

Anyway, there were doors and one of them led to germany, but it wasn’t really germany, and everyone there refuses to acknowledge the building i came out from

I don’t have mall dreams very often anymore (which is a shame because they are often very cool from a design perspective, at least in my dreams) but I associated them to a desire to experience variety in life. The sprawling, endless passages of bright and colorful showcases and various events being held, people talking and sharing a snack, decorations, statues and whatnot, and so on, they always feltt to me like a desire to experience a more hectic life, but also a more beautiful one in an aesthetic sense.

I was there last night. the dream started off like the movie ready player one but me and my gf were in some badlands location from cyberpunk, we were looking for easter eggs but then decided to go to the mallworld your thread speaks of. they had a section that was like the animal crossing museum and had all the crazy looking alien creatures in it, we then went to the food court and everything was not accepting cash. spongebob was behind us in the line and I guess he didnt have apple pay (my girlfriend does and I dont approve of cashless society) so spongebob went into the back and stole food, but he hurried out because the security measure was like a bad acid trip and he was being absorbed by a black hole ban hammer

I got goosebumps with this thread, it reminded me of a dream I had last month, in this dream I entered an underground parking lot that resembled a dungeon… So I went upstairs, found out it was a mall, I spent minutes looking at shops and exploring the place, which was relatively populated… When I decided to return home, I found that the parking lot exit had been sealed, at this point I had a feeling of impending evil, as if the whole place was evil and was Trapping me, a kind of consumer purgatory… I don’t remember much what happened, but I managed to get away, but that feeling that they would go after me anyway stuck in my mind.

Last time I was at a "mallworld" during a dream was a few years ago, it was really spacious, with every wall and floor being polished marble, every corner being a carved marble pillar, tasteful golden strips on the bottom and top of every wall, gigantic glass ceilings and sometimes even glass walls that gave me a view where I realized the whole place was floating on yellow-tinted clouds amongst the bright sky that gave off a strong heavenly aesthetic. It was the most calming and angelic place I had ever seen, I don’t think I could have just dreamt up something so overwhelmingly divine

Reading these thread it looks like the dream feels very different for everyone, and it seems it often negative or at least mundane and boring, which contrasts a lot with my experience. To me the worst that it would get is that I’d "yearn" for something (nothing in particular), otherwise I’d take a nice walk around the place, try some food or meet some people I haven’t seen in years. Other times I’m just doing tourism there and generally having a good time. Most of the time I can’t pinpoint where the city I’m visiting is located, other times it’s supposedly a place from real life but it looks nothing like it, or barely resembles it.

I’m pretty sure the "world" being referred to in this thread are settings in dreams where you’re in a seemingly infinitely large mall/airport/school/supermarket/any other massive place you visit a lot, or a mixture of those. With some people, it’s the same setting in multiple different dreams; with others (like me), the settings tend to be totally different in layout even if they’re still recognized as a school, mall etc.
