Guestthere are none, even if you increased your chances by 1000x, you would still have only an incredibly small chance of winning the big prize

GuestLump sum or annual payments?

GuestLump sum and invest it. Payments overtime literally mean it’s devaluing as you are getting paid out over time.
I’ve also never played the lottery in my life but I’m genuinely considering it now. I have enough disposable income that investing in one ticket per drawing wouldn’t fuck my life up. Been considering how to come up with a number set. I’ve been considering writing a script to generate all possible outcomes, then taking out things I think are high risk.
Ideally, I’d remove
– Previous winners
– Things like sequential numbersFrom there, I’d try to shoot for some arbitrary combination that is unlikely to be built out by other people. For instance, I’d try to filter out number sets that include days/months, as people are likely to use variants of their birth dates and shit like that. With what’s left, I’d have an arbitrary number set that, hopefully if it wins, is unlikely to be shared.
I’m no statistician though. Would love to get others perspectives on this

GuestAll that work would be pointless, all number sets are equally likely.
Just use the lucky dip option for each drawer.-

Guest> All that work would be pointless, all number sets are equally likely
The sequential number aspect is definitely just superstition. Repeat numbers is also likely just as much of a farce However, the aspect of trying to pick numbers that others wouldn’t pick likely is more valuable. You’re talking that if you are more likely to match even one other person you’re cutting the prize pool in half, no?And picking a random number set each time also feels wrong, but again, I’m no statistician. I’d think I’d just go through the hoops to pick a number set once and run with it indefinitely.

GuestWhat if you miss a draw for whatever reason, and those specific numbers win?

GuestI’d imagine the extreme majority of numbers are equally unlikely to be picked, so jumping over the analysis and going by RNG to pick yours will be fine. You can eyeball your randomly picked number to make sure it’s not the decimal digits of the square root of 2 or all 7s.

GuestYou still have to pay property taxes and maintain the house if you want it to maintain it’s value, the game was rigged from the start.

It’s a freaking scam

Guestits not even really about property it’s just that a functioning economy needs lots of money sinks to get rid of excess money supply otherwise the government can’t spend (create) any money without creating inflation problems. tax isn’t about getting money its about destroying it.

GuestMostly you’re paying for public services in your area that you directly or indirectly benefit from such as schools, libraries, parks and other public land, emergency services such as fire and police departments, trash collection, street maintenance, repair, and cleaning, sewer and storm drain management,

GuestYou’re not paying to own property you are paying to have the services you want continually maintained. How else would you have running water, sewage and electricity to your property? Not to mention roads and sidewalks that take you to your property
>I pay for that in my bills
But you don’t because those costs are astronomical and even with paying property taxes you never even pay for half what it costs. What is somehow a scam is this idea that you can own property perpetually and pay absolutely nothing in taxes and have continually provided services almost free by the government like running water, sewage, electricity, roads, sidewalks, police protection, fire protection-

GuestSounds like a big freaking ponzi scheme, public works can’t be funded by taxation alone so just water down the money supply to keep paying for it.

Time travel, or actually know the result prior to the draw taking place.
Otherwise, sorry champ there isn’t any. You’d have to develop it yourself. Which I guess is an inordinate amount of times smaller than you actually picking the correct numbers in the first place. -
