Essentially go out of your way to hurt others with no clear benefit for yourself. Why spend time and energy hurting someone when you recieve nothing in return?

It’s a more neutral position. Sometimes in life, there is only one winning ticket, thus it is you vs me. Nothing personal, but someone is going to get screwed.

What if I hurt someone for a benefit that I don’t need, and/or that I’m not entitled to? What if I’m a mugger who kills a woman for her purse?

Put simply, evil is when one’s action harms a person or a community of people. That’s it.

But you can harm one person to help more people. What if you don’t harm that person and more people get hurt as a result, isn’t that evil?

Intent matters to a large degree, genuinely trying to help someone only to fail and make things worse is unfortunate and regrettable but it isn’t evil.

To cause harm to others for arbitrary reasons like pleasure

If anything, pleasure is quite a concrete, material reason compared to something like ‘god told me so’ or ‘the greater good’.

Evil is the absence of God.
So something is evil if it by it’s rejects God or is a perversion his intended will for something.

Only in the purely abstract sense. God does not dwell in any evil action or intent or consciousness. He observes it and is aware of it, but is not part of it.
Evil is akin to nothingness, a vacuum where there exists no matter or energy, but that does not mean space-time is absent at the location of the vacuum, that the universe stops existing just because this particular coordinates in space-time contains no atomic particles or exotic energies.

Also theodicy is irrelevant and Epicurus is a homosexual idiot who’s been debunked for thousands of years.

First part of your post is dumb and not worth the effort.
              >Also, why is god a man. Does he have a penis? Can he cum?
No you brainlet, he is giving the male pronoun for a number of reasons.
              1) Jesus was male & Jesus was God
              2) God formed Adam in his image and then Eve from the rib of Adam.
              3) God created without requiring another party, so this is often compared to the stages of the creation of a human, that sperm (the first state, before it is exposed to the egg) is created by the male.
It’s put more eligently elsewhere but I can’t be arsed with you.

Yes. That’s how it works. You need some kind of basic element in pace to provide a point for a space. It can’t exist in a freaking non-existence.

          >God is in all things so there is no evil.
Your trying to take the concept on omnipresence, that God in everywhere at all time in a metaphysical sense, purposely applying it to the physical sense
          All things are not God
and then purposely discounting Gods granting of Free will to humanity and ignoring the impact that individuals use of free will has on the physical world and others.

        The only good answer

        Evil is unbound sadism.
Doing harm and torment not primarily in self defense, retaliation or to obtain anything from the victim but for the sake of doing harm, taking pleasure for said harm.

Evil people smile, laugh and feel genuine pleasure from harming and tormenting.

Unlike what we usually believe, sadists are the some of most empathic people, which is what makes them sick, empathy is not compasion, they may don’t have compasion yet they feel many things from watching other people in suffering and despair.

Evilness is very "human", it is more "human-like" than humane is.

When you experience evil you’ll know it and since human life is so subjective psychologically that’s how evil exists in the first place, you might want to say nothing is evil but life will make you think differently. Even us not being able to define it is part of it.
