Guestwell its a different story you play legit games so i guess proton and wine should be fine
but for me i dont want patreon-ware messing up my host (and putting dirty smutty files in my appdata next to trojan exes) since im a huge pirate (the only thing i lack is a poly the parrot plush next to my external drive collection)what about LUKS is it more secure?

on a serious note if you look at the windows settings there is an option to automatically clear downloads if the drive space fills up
AVOID at all costs (or you can move your downloads to a different drive since windows can just nuke the folder anytime)
