Install Brave instead, firefox is for trannys that want George Soros to spy on them.

What do you mean by debloat?

You use a custom user.js to disable configuration options, you use uBlock Origin to block ads, you use local CDN so resources load quicker.

Just use Ungoogled Chromium. Firefox used to be great, but Mozilla killed off the power user features, added a bunch of bloat and telemetry shit, pushed out Brandon Rich (the former CEO who made Firefox good), and now put out shit like picrel. Chromium is now the lightest modern web browser and Ungoogled Chromium makes zero unsolicited connections (unlike Firefox, Vivaldi, or Edge).

yes bro whatever you say its true, but soon every adblock extensions won’t work. what are you going to do? internet without ublock or use firefox despite trannies and their strange choices? i don’t know about you but I’m going for the 2 option, i won’t click to any garden gnomegle ads

You don’t. I tried ffprofile to get rid of as much crap as I could but the first startup still pissed me off enough that I uninstalled within 10 minutes.

I thought the ungoogled guys said they’re not gonna implement v3

eloston said that they were looking for alternatives, like implementing brave or bromite adblock solution, but they were considering to don’t touch anything and let extensions get less "powerful". either way ublock on chromium seems kil

          >but soon every adblock extensions won’t work. what are you going to do?
There are literally hundreds of millions of people who block ads.
It’s not going away just because Chrome says so.
In fact it will harm them possibly more than the current status quo because people will probably switch to DNS solutions.
Whichever lucky dev bundles some DNS shitware to normies as the next gen Adblock is going to make a fortune.
That is until people realize it’s shitware and switch to something else like making the DNS sinkhole yourself or switch to a middle ground foss alternative like pihole.

But that first lucky dev is still going to make a lot of money like the Adblock plus devs did by selling off whitelists under the noses of normies.

Use the arkenfox user.js although a policies.json is a peferable way to enforce many of those.
Yes it sucks but you only have to do it once every couple years when they release a new firefox ESR.
No, none of this should be happening but all modern web browsers are trash, just like almost all of everything that has anything to do with computers or indeed, pretty much all of society right now.
You could use qutebrowser I guess but since the whole thing was written in python you need an extremely high end computer.

out of the box firefox makes 2799 network connections, many to non mozilla domains, that’s bad, i’m sure you would agree. brave only makes 70 and only to brave domains. and you think a patched spyware browser is better than brave, what fucking cope, holy shit

Modern open sores is all about dropping support for older hardware, canceling everyone right of Stalin, and sucking FAGMAN cock. Just look at the retards that come here everyday to promote systemd, chrome, identity politics, DRM, google shit, rust, amazon shit, pajeet OSs like modern windows, and all the various botnets.

Free software or any other kind of freedom like speech can not be allowed to really exist in the modern world. It’s to dangerous for the powers that be. They can’t ban freedoms outright without massive backlash yet. So they subvert and destroy all real projects and communities from the inside. Since most people are self obsessed idiots the strategy works.

The solution is to ignore software licenses/patents/laws. All data should be free. All licenses are cuck licenses. Yes even your beloved GPL. Instead of living in fear do things like using the NT source code leaks to improve wine. Release as anon. Host repos where they can’t be taken down (like ipfs). Crack into Nvidia servers and leak their driver source code. Use it to make free drivers for free kernels.

Not complete probably, but here are some things to debloat:

      – Disable Pocket: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-re-enable-pocket-for-firefox

      – Disable telemetry and studies: Settings -> Privacy & Settings -> Firefox Data Collection and Use -> disable everything.

      – Settings -> Home -> New Windows and Tabs -> set "Homepage and new windows" and "New tabs" to Blank Page.

      – Settings -> Search -> Search Shortcuts -> Remove any unneccessary search engines

Not debloat-related, but if you want:
      – Settings -> Search -> Optionally select "Add search bar in toolbar".

      – Settings -> Search -> Default Search Engine
