It’s impossible for a med to not have a beard, I think they just found it easier to depict non-bearded people

women were depicted as brown too, lighter women were actually not colored at all as a way to point that this was a priestess or something

Bull worship/as a symbol of power is also from egypt, literally on narmer palette

        It’s from maykop or older

        They WERE the bulls

bulls are unrelated to yamnaya, they spread through greece and iran to other places

I have this exact same phenotype and can’t grow a proper beard. I suspect they had the same issue.

Facial hair growth is only partially affected by t levels. It’s largely informed by sensitivity to DHT, which yes is a product of testosterone but individual sensitivity to DHT seems to be genetically predetermined regardless of hormonal profile and often is correlated with place of origin- West and South Asians are the most sensitive and thus usually begin growing facial hair earlier in pubertal development and have the capability to grew dense full beards relatively quickly while East Asians and Amerindians grow sparse facial hair. I cannot stress this enough because Europeans colonists were extremely impressed with the physical capabilities, physiques and rugged lifestyles of Amerindians and Native Hawaiians-some of the most hairless people on the planet.
The correlation between decreased hormonal profiles and sparse facial hair only manifests in people who already have a predisposition toward growing facial hair i.e. guy should be able to grow a full beard but lower t levels are hampering the priming of hair follicles and conversion of DHT.
That being said, the prevalence of genetic proclivities in a population does not mean that fluctuation does not exist in an individual level. If you’re Middle Eastern or European or whatever and cannot grow a proper beard, this does not necessarily mean you have an androgen deficiency. If you make all the proper lifestyle adjustments or are taking hormonal supplements and still are dissatisfied with your facial hair growth, you must accept that perhaps you have a genetic proclivity against the development of facial hair and boosting your t levels even higher is not going to change that.

Gobekli Tepe, Catalhoyuk, these were G2a not J2. Don’t let the J2’s we wuzz just because they bred like rats and are more numerous.

Thats because of Anatolian derived DNA you fool. Old Kingdom Egyptians were EEF. They built the Great Pyramid in 2500 BC which we can’t even do now.

no they weren’t they had a God. Its the same argument protestants had against Catholics. Mother Earth-Father Sky. Romans just went back to the same religion they were practicing before they adopted the Greek Gods. They said they were from troy but DNA show they’re Minoan migrants, who also say they’re from Anatolia. Hittites, Minoans and Latins are basically the same people.

            Hittite – 15% Steppe 85% EEF
            Latin – 15-25% Steppe 75-85% EEF
            Minoan – 100% EEF

You see what he’s saying right? The base European Mediterranean "race" is G2a Cardial EEF which started in Anatolia. In Europe that was mostly wiped out paternally by R1b/R1a and in Mesopotamia by J2, J1, and T.

        Hittite – 15% Steppe 85% EEF
        Latin – 15-25% Steppe 75-85% EEF

Yup, according to one paper WHG, EHG and CHG were hairy, but farmers lacked this gene. When you look at farmer art they don’t depict themselves as hairy.
The CHG might be responsible for hairy Middle Easterners. Also, for hooked noses. Farmers depicted themselves with straight noses (same as Minoans).

          > A comparison of the allelic state of the individuals from this study to other HGs, showed that the thick beard variant at rs365060 was widely spread within WHGs, EHGs and CHGs. Thus, a selective event probably predated the split of hunter-gatherers in Europe
