You can SAY you don’t need to study it as a historical document, but the reality is that that will only hurt you in the long run, as you won’t be able to completely understand The Bible without doing so. Regardless of their alterations, the main purpose of the message it is meant to relay is still intact and there. Whether one has the eyes to see it or not, is beyond me. Your current method of interpretation is highly subjective and fallible, and ignores the context behind the texts. I said Lucifer NOT Satan. In the Latin Vulgate the term used in the passages you listed are draco/Satanas/Satanan. We get the term Lucifer (which would be Phosphorus in Greek) from the Latin Vulgate and it only refers to Jesus/Spirit/Good in the NT.

Most of the mythology of Lucifer comes from Revelation. Revelation portrays the Dragon as "the Ancient Serpent that deceives the whole world," and his war in Heaven that causes him and 1/3rd of stars to fall along with him losing his own place in Heaven. The Ancient Serpent line ties him to the snake in Eden, the losing his place in Heaven ties him to the relevant passages in Isaiah and Ezekiel about the Morning Star and the fallen Cherubim.
What Milton did was to contextualize all of these associations into one coherent narrative, using the model of the epic hero. He by no means invented the character. I genuinely do not understand why that myth is so persistent, when even basic familiarity with the text would show that it’s wrong.
