it’s literally the most streamed line and tealored experience. it’s the apple of daws even compared to apple’s on freaking daw. It’s the normiest of daws.

The most autistic daw is probably bitwig because or fl studio because of how open tinkerers they are.

I like Bitwig. Very fluid and natural interface, unique Grid mechanic, clean UI, great performance, doesn’t hang on a crash, and so on. It’s not super cheap, but it goes on sale periodically and allows endless no-save demos. I guess you can pirate it too. I moved to it from FL after being tired of a horribly dated UI and crashing, and never looked back. Dev team seems responsive and helpful too.

I love how you have no argument for anything. if you could have a nice day as soon as possible, that’d be great. the internet has way too many pretend musicians that can’t write music as it is. it wouldn’t matter what tool you had, you’d still fail.

You forgot Ardour, jesus freaking CHRIST! I HATE that "DAW" with my entire freaking SOUL.
-Midi regions get off-beat every freaking second because some stupid sample set some snap rules.
-Devs are idiots who can’t solve a motherfreaking bug, so it’s 100% of the times the user’s fault for breaking this useless piece of shit
-If there’s a bug, the main cuck old dev will go "buy muh binary!" before anything. And EVEN if you do, he’ll blame it on some stupid shit no one has control over.
-Literally, midi editing is atrocious, made me wanna shoot myself in the balls,
-Automation is as freaking barebones at it gets, you are OBLIGATED to remember that you put some knob at 0.654 because once you create an automation, it puts the point wherever the fuck it wants to. (The logic is that wherever the bar you clicked, but it’s genuinely stupid, just create a point in where the knob was at, THEN let me move that shit around, idiot)
-That’s about it, I never touch the mixing tab because I made it so it should a lil mixer at the left. So IDK how good/bad the mixer is.
-Oh yeah, it looks like rotten dogshit

idk man i think all the different daws are tailored for different sorts of projects. daws aren’t all tailored for electronic music per se but fl studio is good for electronic music, ableton live is for performing obviously, and reaper is my favorite general purpose daw.

Reaper is my absolute favorite for mixing but I haven’t tried recording into it. Usually I make the song in FL or LMMS or something, then move the stems over to Reaper for the mixing and effects.
