Guest>do you really think all those fancy graphical effects it has doesnt add more resources
it’s just a replacement of the other GUI
why would it need more resources?
are you tech illiterate? if anything, the old GUI is likely more of a resource hog-

Guest>fancier
it’s not fancier
it’s even simpler
also, why does AMD not run slower if the OS is at fault?-

Guest>why does this benchmark with no source do this
idk how about I make up a random chart on LULZ and put random numbers on it and have you come up with a reason why those random numbers are the way they are.
would you like that?

Guest>america has the best health care in the world
lolI’m running an 8th gen i7 laptop with 16GB DDR4 and a 3GB 1060 with a 120Hz 1080p display, and I went from around 70FPS to 100FPS in RDR2 on medium settings when my computer was updated to Windows 11 overnight about a month ago (i just let it automatically update whatever it wants, whenever it wants since the only data on that machine is vidya.)
>what is average performance difference across all tests

GuestExactly, ONE game has negative performance, the rest of the tests show better performance on Windows 11. What part of that are you failing to comprehend? If 2/3 of the tests yield positive results that means the majority of the tests yield positive results. And the RDR2 results don’t even give enough data. What version did they use? Steam? Rockstar Social Club? Epic Games Launcher? All three have different performance.

GuestAND I’m freaking scrotebrained, disregard. Dyscalculia strikes again. Not even going to delete

And
… Just freaking point and laugh at my scrotebrained brain switching numbers around. I literally saw higher numbers in the win11 column for every game but RDR2

Guest>Intel performance goes down
Only on RDR, which I find unlikely because I’ve personally seen significant performance increase on my machine due to my main drive being NVMe (DirectStorage is absolutely worth moving games to the system SSD)I’m running an 8th gen i7 laptop with 16GB DDR4 and a 3GB 1060 with a 120Hz 1080p display, and I went from around 70FPS to 100FPS in RDR2 on medium settings when my computer was updated to Windows 11 overnight about a month ago (i just let it automatically update whatever it wants, whenever it wants since the only data on that machine is vidya.)
