Guestit has worse ones like no backward compatibility for projects save in previous versions which is absolutely ridiculous
>update from debian 8 to 10
>sorry, you can’t open all your project anymore
>try to rebuild them
>wav files don’t match sizes
>have to remix entire tracks to get something usable out of them
Ardour is a joke, even porting Logic X projects to Cubase/Reaper is easier.

Guest>hardware gearslut
you scrotes spend more time jerking off over your hardware than actually making music. Actual musicians make music on anything from a toy casio to Pro Tools-

GuestHow the FUCK do I get rid of buzzing on a PC sound input? Using a PCI sound card, a direct injection box to break ground loops, a linear power supply, a freaking gimmick power strip that supposedly "cleans" the power, turned off all wireless devices in my homes, even tried wrapping the damn PC in foil and I still get buzzing even with nothing plugged in.

GuestIt’s quite nice. I bought a One recently, I like it better than my 2000 (non-XL). Still like the QY700 the best.

Guest>What made you change opinion?
The realization that, when it comes to music, the ends literally justify the means. If it sounds good then it’s good, regardless of how it was produced, be it instruments, electronic production, random noises, etc.

GuestNowadays the music industry is so saturated that just achieving the ends doesn’t cut it. If you’re a nobody you have a better chance of reaching audience if you make some video playing it live or something else that gives context. Just having a "fire track" doesn’t cut it, the means is also necessary.

GuestI have a setup with a drum machine, analog synth and an electric guitar. I’ve sometimes recorded 7 songs within a day with my friend. But as time goes on, I can’t be bothered with any editing anymore. I just want to jam, but it would be nice to also upload something. I’ve been thinking that maybe I should start streaming the jamming sessions.

Guestif you record well you shouldn’t need to edit much. have you considered getting one of those modern portastudios? you can just take them any, record everything in the SD, mix on the fly and export the finished track once you get home
it doesn’t get any easier than that

GuestImagine using a sequencer instead of just normal synths or actual instruments.
Have fun with your boring music of nothing but shitty loops.
