It’s not a few hundred dollars as the article clearly shows. I’d say a high refresh rate 4K TV is also necessary if you don’t have one, so add that to the cost as well. It’s also not 4K let alone at max settings, it’s fancy upscaled 1440p.

what about you use your 1500 dollah rig to CREATE games, learn 3d. Your pc will be good for faster rendering etc.-
Every low budget/indie game looks and plays like total shit. The only way to make a good game by yourself is if it’s 2D, or if it’s something voxelly like minecraft (which doesn’t require any 3D design because everything is made of blocks).
